Wednesday, June 5
1Theft: A 31-year-old woman reported between noon May 22 and noon today, air conditioning unit and bicycle stolen from home on 1800 block of LaSalle Avenue.

2Dumping: A 52-year-old woman reported between 8 p.m. June 8 and 7 a.m., four plastic trash bags filled with empty beer cans, bottles and food thrown onto lawn and into trees of home on 1900 block of Coach Drive.
Monday, June 10
3Driving under the influence: Nathaniel V. Laut, 19, Aurora; 2:43 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Main Street; charged with DUI, possession of liquor by minor, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, driving without insurance and disobeying a traffic control signal.
4Burglary: Between 4:30 p.m. June 7 and 6:30 a.m. today, unspecified tools stolen from unlocked construction trailer parked on 1900 block of Glacier Park Avenue; doors were blocked at time of break-in by large end loader, “which had to have been moved” in order to gain entry; extra police patrol of area requested.
5Burglary: Between 2 p.m. June 8 and 6:30 a.m. today, unspecified type of tool stolen from construction trailer parked near Diehl Road and Route 59; doors were blocked at time of break-in by backhoe; key possibly used to unlock padlock and enter trailer; extra police patrol of area requested.
6Vehicle burglary: A 62-year-old man reported between 2:30 and 7:15 a.m., unspecified property stolen from unlocked vehicle parked outside home on 2700 block of Newport Drive.
7Public indecency: A 44-year-old jogger reported about 10:34 a.m., youth riding “older, granny-style, possibly woman’s bicycle” pulled down his shorts and fondled self in front of her while she was running near Ogden Avenue and Raymond Drive; bicyclist described as young black male wearing black shorts and black hoodie with white puma symbol on back.
8Theft: A 48-year-old woman reported between 11 a.m. May 10 and 11:28 a.m. today, all four storage lockers broken into inside apartment complex on 400 block of East Bailey Road.
9Shoplifting: Jonathon A. Franco, 21, 600 block of South Sleight Street; and Aaron J. Ward, 21, 1100 block of Royal St. George Drive; 12:35 p.m. at unidentified business on 1300 block of South Naper Boulevard; charged with retail theft, for taking unspecified alcoholic beverages from business without paying for them; Franco also charged with violation of bail bond.
10Vehicle burglary: Between 2 p.m. June 3 and 2 p.m. today, camera stolen from unlocked vehicle parked outside home on 4300 block of Camelot Circle.
11Theft: Taylor J. Kreifels, 19, Downers Grove; 5:34 p.m. at unidentified business on 1500 block of North Aurora Road; charged with theft, for stealing $40 from cash register.
12Recovery of stolen property: Between 6:30 and 7 p.m., stolen Nike string bag containing wallet left on lawn of home on 1400 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
13DUI: Neil M. Brown, 52, Aurora; 9:58 p.m. on 1200 block of Briergate Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance, failure to signal and speeding.
Tuesday, June 11
14Theft:About 1:02 a.m., iPhone 5 stolen from inside Rizzo’s, 6 W. Jefferson Ave.
15Property damage: Between 10 p.m. June 10 and 7 a.m., mailbox and wooden mounting post knocked to ground outside home on 1200 block of Edward Road.
16Vehicle burglary: Between 6:30 p.m. June 10 and 7:30 a.m., Asus Tablet, 32G iTouch and power inverter stolen from unlocked vehicle parked outside home on 3700 block of Celeste Lane.
17Vandalism: Between noon June 4 and 8:13 a.m. today, “pchicks” and street gang graffiti spray-painted on unidentified piece of city of Naperville property near Royce and Lisson roads.
18Vehicle burglaries: Between 7 p.m. June 10 and 8:45 a.m., eight vehicles burglarized or vandalized while parked outside homes on 3400 and 3500 blocks of Caine Drive; sharp object used to etch scratches into finishes of six of the vehicles; sharp object used to slash leather or upholstery inside two vehicles; and pair of Maui sunglasses, two Bon Jovi compact discs and $5 in change stolen from one vehicle; console and glove compartment rifled in one vehicle, but nothing stolen.
19Vandalism: Between 5:30 and 9:33 a.m., two letter Bs spray-painted back-to-back in black on tops of two boulders on 1100 block of Bainbridge Drive.
20Suspicious incident: About 1:28 p.m., woman told police “she observed suspicious activity in the parking lot” of Jewel-Osco, 1227 S. Naper Blvd., consisting of “possibly subjects checking the parking lot;” police found no such activity upon their arrival.
