1Narcotics possession: Meghan E. Gustin, 28, and Ronald L. Hight, 26, both of Warrenville; 12:18 a.m. in parking lot of Days Inn Naperville/Chicago, 1350 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of narcotic instrument; Gustin also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
2Burglary: Michael L. Conrad, 28, 100 block of North Gregory Avenue; 2 a.m. near Jefferson Avenue and Ambassador Drive; charged with burglary.
3Driving under the influence: Leif E. Munson, 20, 29W200 block of Andermann Drive; 2:15 a.m. near Springdale Circle and Long Acre Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each failure to yield right of way to emergency vehicle, possession of false identification and failure to signal.
4Property damage: Ryan T. Pfau, 18, 1300 block of Old Dominion Road; 4:09 a.m. on 1100 block of Johnson Drive; charged with two counts criminal damage to property and one count consumption of liquor by minor.
5Property damage: Between 4:30 and 5:21 a.m., unspecified number of mailboxes run over on 3100 block of Saganashkee Lane.
6Property damage: Between 7 p.m. Aug. 8 and 8 a.m., mailbox damaged on 2100 block of Sudbury Street.
7Vandalism: Between 6 p.m. Aug. 8 and 8 a.m., “a jar of beets was poured into new tub enclosure” of house under construction on 1200 block of Cardinal Lane.
8Property damage: Between 2:45 p.m. Aug. 8 and 9:09 a.m., window of driver-side door shattered on city of Naperville backhoe on 2700 block of Showplace Drive.
9Shoplifting: About 11:23 a.m., unidentified male or female took charger from Walmart, 776 S. Route 59, and left store without paying for it.
10Suspicious incident: Between 4:15 and 4:27 p.m., at home or unidentified business on 800 block of East Ogden Avenue, “suspicious phone call received from unknown male subject via business phone.”
11Shoplifting: Connie S. Robinson, 54, Wheaton; 5:53 p.m. at Nordstrom Rack, 2511 W. 75th St.; charged with retail theft.
12Suspended license: Jakub B. Ludzik, 23, Aurora; 5:55 p.m. near Bordeaux Lane and Fort Hill Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, driving with invalid registration and improper display of license plate or permit.
13Unlicensed driver: Felix Reyes-Bautista, 46, Chicago; 7:51 p.m. near New York Street and Route 59, Aurora; charged with driving without a license.
14Suspended license: Luis H. Lopez, 28, Bolingbrook; 10:52 p.m. near The Vitamin Shoppe, 1995 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without headlights.
15Fake ID: About 11:25 p.m., unidentified male or female ticketed for misrepresentation of age by minor, after trying to use identification from Arizona to enter Features Bar & Grill, 14 W. Chicago Ave.

16Suspended license: Miguel C. Gonzalez, 20, Aurora; 12:02 a.m. near Pep Boys, 2936 W. Ogden Ave.; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving on wrong side of divided road; also wanted on a warrant.
17DUI: John D. Vonderhaar, 24, Bolingbrook; 2:03 a.m. on 500 block of East 87th Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
18DUI: Jeremy J. Rizner, 26, Plainfield; 3:50 a.m. near Champion Road and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and an equipment requirement violation.
19Vandalism: Sometime before 1:29 p.m., “the south” spray-painted on rear exterior wall of Sears Outlet, 540 S. Route 59.
20Unlicensed driver: Obsvaldo Cielo-Gallegos, 33, Woodridge; 8:10 p.m. near 75th Street and Shepherd Drive; charged with driving without a license.
21Suspended license: Marcus O. Lyons, 44, Melrose Park; 8:39 p.m. near Mobil, 1671 N. Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
22Drug paraphernalia possession: Ava L. Esancy, 22, 1500 block of Inverrary Drive; and Fatima Z. Merabet-Monteiro, 24, 1200 block of Burlington Avenue; 10:21 p.m. near Champagne Court; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia; Esancy also charged with improper lane use; Merabet-Monteiro also charged with illegal possession or transportation of liquor.

24DUI: Quinta M. Edwards, 34, Merrillville, Ind.; 11:23 p.m. near Olympus Drive and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance, improper lane use and speeding; also wanted on a warrant.
