1Theft: Between noon and 2 p.m., theft occurred on 1300 block of South Route 59; report provided no further information.
Wednesday, Aug. 28
2Warrants: About 8:10 a.m., unidentified man or woman went to Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St., “seeking advice about an incident that took place in Woodridge; subject had warrants from DuPage County and was arrested” and taken to DuPage County Jail.
3Battery: Laquana M. Pickett, 26, Chicago; 3:39 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Washington Street; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and a registration violation; subsequently charged with battery and resisting a peace officer, after scuffling with and battering an officer during processing at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.
4Property damage: Sometime before 4:21 p.m., city of Naperville stop sign knocked down at intersection of Hillside Road and Sleight Street.
5Prescription forgery: Tanya L. Macikanycz, 30, Bolingbrook; 7:37 p.m. at CVS Pharmacy, 1299 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with unlawful acquisition of controlled substance.
Thursday, Aug. 29
6Aggravated driving under the influence: Christopher F. Cerecedes, 41, Aurora; 12:02 a.m. near Taco Bell, 2775 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with aggravated DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, disobeying a traffic signal and making improper turn at intersection.
7DUI: Nicholas E. Tyner, 21, Brookfield; and Christopher A. Agne, 22, Riverside; 1:37 a.m. near Bruce Lane and Route 59; Tyner charged with two counts DUI and one count each possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and and illegal possession or transportation of liquor; Agne charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and following another vehicle too closely.
8Property damage: Sometime before 8:12 a.m., unspecified number of city of Naperville street and traffic signs knocked down near intersection of Arthur Road and Dorset Court.
9Suspicious incident: About 9:35 a.m., “unwanted subject” reported at or near 1555 Naperville-Wheaton Road; report provided no further information.
10Disorderly conduct: Donald J. Rauch, 31, West Chicago; 12:22 p.m. at unidentified business at 22 E. Chicago Ave.; charged with disorderly conduct.
11Theft: Woman reported between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., black Guess? wallet stolen from purse while she worked in cafeteria of unidentified business on 2700 block of West Diehl Road.
12Suspicious incident: About 4:04 p.m., employee of unidentified business reported seeing male using power tools underneath vehicle parked in lot on 1300 block of South Naper Boulevard; suspect got into white minivan and sped away from area before vehicle owner or police arrived at scene; suspect described as tall, thin black male wearing dark blue pullover shirt and shorts.
13Order of protection violation: Robert J. Loncar, 50, 3400 block of Redwing Drive; 5:11 p.m. on 3800 block of Royal Dornach Court; charged with violating order of protection.
14Theft: Between 4 and 6 p.m., unlocked bicycle stolen at or near Neuqua Valley High School Gold Campus, 3220 Cedar Glade Drive.
15Unlicensed driver: Gerardo Martinez, 53, 0-99 block of South Whispering Hills Drive; 11:14 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Whispering Hills Drive; charged with driving without a license.
16Suspended license: Catarino Reyes, 47, 700 block of Inland Circle; 11:17 p.m. near Mobil, 1671 N. Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license.
