1Theft: Sometime before 6:49 p.m., Samsung Galaxy S3 cell phone stolen on campus of Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.
2Suspended license: Christopher Macias, 25, Aurora; 9:25 p.m. on 2800 block of West Diehl Road; charged with driving with a suspended license.
3Drug paraphernalia possession: Cassandra A. Whyte, 26, 1500 block of Chippewa Drive; 11 p.m. on 1300 block of Aurora Avenue; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance, depositing injurious material on a highway and improper lane use.
4Marijuana possession: Charles K. Hill, 36, Sioux Falls, S.D.; 11:16 p.m. on 800 block of Beaumont Drive; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and making improper turn at intersection.
Tuesday, Sept. 3
5Theft: About 12:05 p.m., 34-year-old resident of 1500 block of Preston Road reported approximately 17 running shirts stolen from home “over a long period of time.”
6Obstruction of justice: Alberto Morales, 24, Aurora; 5:32 p.m. near Iroquois Avenue and Washington Street; charged with obstructing identification and failure to wear a seat belt; also wanted on a warrant.
7No registration: Annajeanne A. Dewey, 26, Aurora; 7:49 p.m. near Brookdale Road and Route 59; charged with having no valid vehicle registration; also wanted on a warrant.
Wednesday, Sept. 4
8Order of protection violation: James M. Morgan, 46, 100 block of East Bailey Road; 11:55 a.m. at home; charged with violation of order of protection.
9Runaway: About 2 p.m., juvenile reported as having run away from home on 2800 block of Vernal Lane; boy returned home just after police were contacted.
10Vehicle damage: A 50-year-old man reported between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., unknown, possibly sharp object used to damage windshield of silver, 2013 Hyundai Elantra parked in southeast lot on campus of Naperville Central High School, 440 Aurora Ave.
11Trespassing: Nicholas Nakos, 48, 400 block of Valley Drive; 4:14 p.m. on 1200 block of West Ogden Avenue; charged with criminal trespass to land.
12Suspended license: Adrean S. Sims, 38, Joliet; 4:46 p.m. near 111th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
13Theft: A 50-year-old woman reported between 4:30 and 7:50 p.m., exhaust pipe severed and catalytic converter stolen from silver, 2003 Oldsmobile Alero parked in lot of Goodwill Industries, 539 Fort Hill Drive.
14Soliciting: Pierre L. Allen, 26, Cleveland; 8:40 p.m. on 0-99 block of East Gartner Road; charged with soliciting without a permit and disorderly conduct/breach of peace.
15Shoplifting: Eva Diaz-Rodriguez, 51, Aurora; 8:53 p.m. at Nordstrom Rack, 2511 W. 75th St.; charged with retail theft, after store security worker saw her switching price tags on merchandise.
16Theft: A 44-year-old man reported between 4 and 9 p.m., catalytic converter stolen from vehicle parked near Jefferson Avenue and Route 59.
Thursday, Sept. 5
17Driving under the influence: Katelyn E. Struckmeyer, 23, 100 block of North Eagle Street; 1:07 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Rickert Drive; “driver coming from bar found to be intoxicated” and charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.
18DUI: Erica R. Baumbaugh, 27, Joliet; 1:15 a.m. near Ring Road and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
19DUI: David B. Martinez, 21, 700 block of Inland Circle; 2:38 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and speeding, for driving 87 mph in a 50-mph zone.
20Theft: Between 6 p.m. Aug. 31 and 7 a.m. today, two license plates stolen from vehicles at unidentified dealership on 2200 block of Aurora Avenue.
21Battery: About 8:57 a.m., two employees of unidentified business on 1800 block of High Grove Lane “got into a heated discussion over work issues. One claims the other poked him in the chest, but does not wish to sign a complaint. The other worker denies doing so. Company (human resources) will address the situation.”
22Vehicle burglary: An 85-year-old woman reported between 6 p.m. Aug. 25 and 11:30 a.m. today, handicapped parking placard stolen from glove compartment of possibly unlocked vehicle parked on 100 block of West Franklin Avenue.
23Theft: A 41-year-old woman reported between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., catalytic converter stolen from white, 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier parked on 1400 block of South Route 59.
24Theft: A 40-year-old man reported between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., catalytic converter stolen from 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier parked on 1900 block of Glacier Park Avenue; suspicious, white Dodge van occupied by three black males seen in area around 2 p.m.
25Disorderly conduct: Taysir S. Barakat, 57, 1700 block of Auburn Avenue; 6:09 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with disorderly conduct.
26DUI: Nickolas T. Jackson, 34, Downers Grove; 8:23 p.m. near LaSalle Avenue and Bond Street; charged with two counts DUI, a registration violation and one count each illegal possession or transportation liquor and disobeying a stop sign.
27Suspicious incident: A 70-year-old resident of the 800 block of Diane Lane reported about 11 p.m., male or female banged on front door of her home and rang doorbell before leaving area in light-colored sport utility vehicle or Jeep-like vehicle; woman next day went outside and found “a statue had been turned over, blocking a solar light that illuminates the house.”
Friday, Sept. 6
28Underage drinking: About 1:42 a.m., female juvenile “returned home under the influence of alcohol and began yelling and arguing with her father and stepmother” inside their home on the 1800 block of South Washington Street.
29Hit and run: About 9:37 a.m., “rear-end crash” that ended in “five-car pileup” occurred near 75th Street and Millbrook Drive; report provided no further information.
30DUI: Robert J. Wagner, 53, 2300 block of Simsbury Court; 7:41 p.m. near Rickert Drive and Book Road; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance and improper lane use.
31Civil dispute: A 38-year-old woman about 9:10 p.m. contacted Naperville police, 1350 Aurora Ave., and “stated her ex-husband and his girlfriend have been sending harassing e-mails and text messages” to her.
32Property damage: Between 8 and 9:51 p.m., window was shattered on north side of First Floor elevator inside city of Naperville public parking deck, 43 W. Van Buren Ave.
33Vehicle damage: Between 7 and 10 p.m., during Naperville Central High School sporting event, rear passenger-side window was broken on vehicle parked in lot of school, 440 Aurora Ave.
34Fake ID: About 11:10 p.m., unidentified male or female ticketed for misrepresentation of age by minor, after using phony identification in unsuccessful attempt to enter Club Mamalu, 10 W. Chicago Ave.; similar incident occurred next night at 11:01 p.m., with unidentified female ticketed for trying to enter same club with bogus identification.
35Underage drinking: Forrest T. Johnston, age and home town not provided; 11:43 p.m. near Ivy Lane and Raymond Drive; charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by minor.
Saturday, Sept. 7
36DUI: Cullen Michaels, age and home town not provided; 1:08 a.m. near Orleans Avenue and Ishnala Drive; charged with DUI, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident and other, unspecified traffic violations.
37Unlicensed driver: Eulogio F. Daniel-Garcia, 54, Warrenville; 1:46 a.m. near New York Street and Route 59, Aurora; charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and making improper turn at intersection.
38DUI: Curtis F. Lippold, 24, Aurora; 2:36 a.m. near Bar Louie, 22 E. Chicago Ave.; charged with two counts DUI.
39DUI: Brian P. Noone, 19, 2600 block of Rockport Lane; 12:53 p.m. near Chicago Avenue and Huffman Street; charged with DUI/alcohol, DUI/drugs, possession of false identification card and driving with unsafe tires on vehicle.
40DUI: Cody L. Smith, 18, Wheaton; 2:05 p.m. near Chicago Avenue and Naper Boulevard; charged with DUI/drugs and making improper turn at intersection, after stopping his vehicle in middle of traffic, making right turn from center lane of traffic and then driving over grass and landscaping rock before coming to stop.
