Wednesday, Sept. 11
1Vehicle burglary: A 38-year-old man reported between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., wallet stolen from unlocked truck parked outside unidentified business on 1000 block of Aurora Avenue.
Friday, Sept. 13
2Driving under the influence: Shemeka L. Davis, 29, Lisle; 12:32 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Raymond Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each illegal possession or transportation liquor, driving with a suspended license, driving with an expired registration and speeding.
3Suspicious incident: A 40-year-old resident of the 900 block of Kenilworth Circle reported between 3:15 p.m. Sept. 12 and 8:13 a.m., two men rang doorbell “inquiring on her firewood and other landscaping/handyman needs;” both men possibly Hispanic, one in his 50s and other 18-20 years old.
4Suspicious incident: Between 2 p.m. Sept. 9 and 1:23 p.m. today, “man seen wearing neon-colored shirt in yard near patio door” of home on 1300 Purdue Avenue.
5Child endangerment: Lisa J. Graham, 48, 900 block of Heathrow Lane; 2:10 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with endangering the health or life of a child.
6Attempted burglary: A 57-year-old man reported between 11 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., locked, outer screen door pulled or torn from frame at home on 800 block of Buttonwood Circle; inner door was open at time; resident and dog at home but “nothing out of the ordinary” was observed during reported time frame.
7Suspicious incident: Resident called police to report “black minivan driving slowly through his neighborhood” near Canyon Run and Lisson roads between 10:56 a.m. and 4 p.m.
8Suspicious vehicle: About 5:30 p.m., “suspicious vehicle seen numerous times in area” of 1800 block of Rampart Court.
9Alcohol-related incidents: Between 11:21 and 11:36 p.m., in two apparently separate incidents, underage girl or woman and unidentified male or female tried to use fake identification to enter bar or bars on 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue; about 12:11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, unidentified male or female seen drinking bottle of beer and trying to enter unidentified bar on same block; and about 12:11 a.m. Saturday, arrests made of Dylan J. Hunziker, 21, 1600 block of Fender Road; and Andrew J. Zelasko, 21, 1600 block of Fordham Court, also on same block; Hunziker charged with being pedestrian under the influence and resisting a peace officer; Zelasko charged with three counts resisting a peace officer, one count domestic battery and violation of bail bond from prior incident.
Saturday, Sept. 14
10DUI: Linda A. Schofield, 49, Hoffman Estates; 12:40 a.m. near Jackson Avenue and Main Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count driving vehicle without headlights.
11DUI: Calvin B. Van Meter, 23, Bolingbrook; 12:52 a.m. on 600 block of Timber Trail Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each using electronic communication device while driving, leaving scene of accident involving vehicle damage and improper lane use, after vehicle crashed into stone streetlight, dislodging front license plate, which police recovered; Van Meter located about a block away and arrested.
12DUI: Martin J. Mockovak, 33, Bridgeview; 12:57 a.m. near Illinois Brick Co., 1760 North Aurora Road; charged with two counts DUI and one count each making improper turn at intersection and improper lane use.
13DUI: Gina M. Valentino, 23, Minooka; 1:47 a.m. near Seventh Avenue and Washington Street; charged with DUI and speeding.
14Unlicensed driver: Shadell M. Terrell, 23, 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue; 2:12 a.m. near Eighth Avenue and Main Street; charged with driving without a license, illegal possession or transportation liquor and obstructing identification; also wanted on a warrant out of Will County.
15DUI: Nicolas E. Smith, 22, Bolingbrook; 2:31 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Whispering Hills Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count driving 40 mph or more over posted speed limit.
16DUI: Joseph M. Haynes, 24, Chicago; 4:22 a.m. near 75th Street and Millbrook Drive; charged with DUI/alcohol, DUI/drugs, driving without a license, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession or transportation liquor and speeding; unidentified passenger ticketed on unspecified charge.
17Burglary: Between 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 7 a.m., burglar or burglars “forcibly opened two trailers and removed thousands of dollars worth of tools” on construction site on 2700 block of Showplace Drive.
18Property damage: A 60-year-old man reported between 7 p.m. Sept. 13 and 7 a.m., hit and run vehicle struck and damaged mailbox outside home on 1700 block of Chadwicke Circle.
19Attempted vehicle burglary: A 45-year-old man reported between 1 and 9 a.m., attempt made to break into vehicle parked in driveway of home on 2600 block of Hoddam Road.
20Property damage: A 43-year-old man reported sometime before 4:45 p.m., front glass door damaged at unidentified business on 400 block of East Ogden Avenue.
21Marijuana possession: About 5:10 p.m., unidentified motorist ticketed for possession of marijuana and disobeying a stop sign near Springdale Circle and Dewhurst Street.
22Juvenile nuisance: About 7:11 p.m., juvenile banned from area of 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue “after loitering and skateboarding on property and disregarding posted signs.”
23Suspended license: Tim E. Colliver, 29, Bolingbrook; 7:29 p.m. near Chicago Avenue and Washington Street; charged with driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance, driving with an expired registration and disobeying a traffic signal.
24Marijuana possession: Hamzah Rehan, 20, 2000 block of Wicklow Road; 7:52 p.m. near Wicklow Road and Pradel Drive; charged with possession of less than 30 grams marijuana and driving vehicle with broken rear license plate light.
25Suspended license: Ryan L. Bennett, 30, 1600 block of Brookdale Road; 8:01 p.m. near apartment complex on 700 block of Royal St. George Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to yield right of way while making left turn.
26Marijuana possession: About 8:41 p.m., police investigated report of “suspect vehicle” parked in lot of University Commons strip mall, 1800 Wehrli Road; “strong odor” of burning marijuana noted wafting from vehicle; unidentified vehicle owner ticketed for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
27Special patrol request: About 9:27 p.m., resident of 3400 block of Keller Lane requested special police patrol due to “suspected drug activity” in area.
28Order of protection violation: Colleen M. Tomain, 37, 200 block of Ketten Drive; 9:52 p.m. at home; charged with violating order of protection.
29DUI: Isaac A. Jackson, 21, Aurora; 11:24 p.m. near Chalet and River roads; charged with DUI/drugs, making improper turn at intersection and failure to signal.
30Unlicensed driver: About 11:34 p.m., car reported driving on or near 900 block of Genesee Court without headlights; unidentified owner of vehicle found to have no license, and unidentified passenger found driving car; both ticketed.
31DUI: Krystal M. Williams, 21, Aurora; 11:42 p.m. near Seventh Avenue and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
32Underage drinking: About 11:53 p.m., unidentified male or female ticketed for drinking beer while walking on sidewalk on 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue.
Sunday, Sept. 15
33Battery: Shaun M. Stewart, 27, Lombard; and Christopher A. Lancaster, 26, Mount Prospect; 1:23 a.m. at Rizzo’s, 6 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with battery of 27-year-old man.
34DUI: Alexandria Y. Torres, 22, Joliet; 1:57 a.m. near Ford Lane and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use, after Dodge van she was driving struck curb.
35DUI: Nicholas A. Novak, 25, Aurora; 2:15 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Birchwood Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
