Thursday, Sept. 26
Speeding: Robert D. Ratledge, 45, 3400 block Parliament Lane; 6:22 a.m. on the 1900 block of Glacier Park Avenue near Route 59; speeding over statutory limit and outstanding warrant.
Property destruction: No tickets were issued after someone drove into a barricade near Washington Street and Chicago Avenue, causing it to fall over into another vehicle at 7:33 a.m.
Traffic signal violation: An unnamed driver was ticketed for running a red light after turning against a left arrow from northbound Naper Boulevard onto westbound Diehl Road at 8:36 a.m., striking the passenger side of a vehicle driving south on Naper.
Following too closely: Jeffrey R. Smith, whose age and address were not provided, was ticketed after rear ending another vehicle at 75th Street and Book Road at 8:54 a.m.
Improper lane usage: The unidentified driver of a semitruck was cited after hitting a small school bus stopped in traffic at Washington and Ogden Avenue at 1:38 p.m., clipping the two vehicles’ mirrors against each other.
Failure to reduce speed: Kevin M. Marcolini, whose age and address were not provided, was ticketed for failing to slow down to avoid an accident after the his Kia Forte rear ended a Ford Escape at 111th Street and Route 59 at 7:19 p.m.
Possession of stolen property: Baltazar Hernandez, 43, Bolingbrook; 8:27 p.m. at 75th Street and Fort Hill Drive; charged with possession of stolen property, driving with a suspended license, title/registration possession offenses, no valid registration and no restraint for one of the children in the vehicle.
Uninsured vehicle: Andrew J. Novosel, whose age and address were not provided, was ticketed for driving without insurance after hitting another vehicle while driving in a left-turn lane to enter a parking lot near Ogden Avenue and Washington Street at 9:41 p.m.
Suspended license: Michael J. Wood, 24, Montgomery; cited for driving on a suspected or revoked license after a traffic stop near 75th Street and Route 59 at 10:52 p.m.
Theft: A 56-year-old man reported between 10:30 a.m. Sept. 22 and 10 a.m., while he and his family were on vacation, pieces of fencing stolen from outside home on 5300 block of Velvet Bent Court.
Friday, Sept. 27
Suspicious incident: Before 11:22 a.m., divots and gouges made in lawn of home on 3500 block of Sweet Maggie Lane.
Shoplifting: Brian F. O. Castle, 24, Montgomery; 1:26 p.m. at Menards, 715 Fort Hill Drive; charged with retail theft and criminal trespass to land, after taking three, 100-amp, two-pole breakers from store without paying for them and then trying to flee from police.
Trespassing: Bradlee P. Schutzenhofer, 19, Mokena; 4:29 p.m. at North Central College dormitory, 180 E. Chicago Ave.; charged with criminal trespass to land, after claiming he had gone to ex-girlfriend’s room to retrieve belongings; police determined he had no property there and was also in violation of college-issued “no trespassing” warning.
Suspended license: Christian Callejas, 19, Aurora; 8:04 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Washington Street; charged with driving with a suspended license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an expired registration; also wanted on a warrant.
Fake ID: About 11:35 p.m., unidentified teenager or young adult ticketed for misrepresentation of age by minor, after trying to use phony identification to enter unidentified bar on the first block of West Chicago Avenue.
Driving under the influence: Pierce S. Knapp, 20, 1200 block of Brook Crossing Court; 11:39 p.m. near Douglas Road and Saddle Farm Lane; charged with two counts DUI and one count each possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane use.
Curfew violation: About 11:49 p.m., unspecified number of youths set bag filled with feces afire outside home on 2400 block of Cimarron Court; police found youths hiding and placed them in custody of their parents.
Saturday, Sept. 28
Trespassing: Daniel M. Wagner, 24, Glen Ellyn; 12:01 a.m. at Features Bar & Grill, 10 W. Chicago Ave.; charged with criminal trespass to land, after trying to re-enter bar while drunk after having been ejected; also now banned from premises.
Fake ID: About 12:36 a.m., unidentified teenager or young adult ticketed for misrepresentation of age by minor, after trying to use phony identification to enter unidentified bar on the first block of West Chicago Avenue.
Aggravated DUI: Airrace R. Muhammad, 32, Bolingbrook; 1:55 a.m. near 103rd Street and Route 59; charged with aggravated DUI with a suspended or revoked license, DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked license for second time or more, illegal possession or transportation of liquor, obstructing identification, disobeying a traffic signal, failure to signal and three counts resisting a peace officer.
Theft: About 1:58 a.m., 30 used car batteries stolen from fenced-in area of unidentified business on 700 block of Fort Hill Drive; suspects were white man wearing black hoodie and blond white woman; batteries loaded into black, four-door car, possibly a Nissan Maxima.
DUI: Dion J. Pacheco, 35, Aurora; 2:59 a.m. near Kraft Foods, 1555 W. Ogden Ave.; charged with two counts DUI and one count each transportation of open alcohol, improper lane use and speeding.
Battery: Sarah N. Abel, 21, Aurora; 3:55 a.m. at apartment building on 5s100 block of Pebblewood Lane; charged with battery, after striking police officer who was investigating complaint of loud party at building.
Property damage: A 37-year-old woman reported between 12:01 and 10 a.m., raw eggs hurled and shattered against vehicle parked outside home on 2300 block of Worthing Drive.
Drug possession: About 1:47 p.m., unidentified male or female collapsed after using narcotics inside bathroom of home on 800 block of Lilac Lane; subject revived by fire department paramedics and taken to Edward Hospital for treatment; subject later charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Trespassing: Jeremy J. Lombardo, 20, Woodridge; 7:30 p.m. at unidentified business at 22 E. Chicago Ave.; charged with criminal trespass to land, after having received warning not to be at business and then being found in rear parking area.
Property damage: A 55-year-old man reported between 6 and 10:38 p.m., mailbox damaged outside home on 2600 block of Deering Bay Drive.
Fake ID: About 11:27 p.m., unidentified teenage girl or young adult ticketed for misrepresentation of age by minor, after trying to use phony identification to enter unidentified bar on first block of West Chicago Avenue.
Shoplifting: About 11:32 p.m., two teenagers took two bottles of alcohol from unidentified business near 95th Street and Route 59 without paying for them.
Sunday, Sept. 29
Underage drinking: William A. Becker, 19, 900 block of East Chicago Avenue; and Christopher M. James, 20, Bolingbrook; 12:01 a.m. at Becker’s home; charged with contributing to delinquency of minors/hosting party where liquor was served to minors; Brandon M. Kibby, 21, Schaumburg, charged with consumption of alcohol by minor and criminal trespass to residence; Marcelo D. Cajas-Manangon, 20, first block of East Chicago Avenue, charged with consumption of alcohol by minor and obstructing identification.
Battery: Brian A. Gomez, 23, Plano; 12:05 a.m. near Jefferson Avenue and Washington Street; charged with two counts battery, after being told to leave nearby, unidentified business and then striking two security workers.
Battery: A 26-year-old woman reported about 12:51 a.m., fight broke out at home on 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue, after unidentified, intoxicated guests were asked to leave birthday party; report did not indicate whether arrests were made.
DUI: John J. Pfeiffer, 41, 200 block of Hampshire Court; 2:10 a.m. near Bailey Road and Washington Street; charged with DUI, driving without a license, driving with an expired registration, failure to signal and improper lane use.
DUI: Damon M. Miles, 24, Montgomery; 2:37 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive; charged with DUI, driving without insurance and improper lane use; passenger Joshua B. Miles, 22, Aurora; charged with interfering with police.
DUI: Latoya D. Edwards, 31, Joliet; 2:38 a.m. near Royce Road and Washington Street; charged with DUI and improper lane use; passenger Crystal F. Taborn, 31, Joliet, charged with filing false police report, pedestrian under the influence and interfering with police.
Disorderly conduct: A 22-year-old woman reported about 3:14 a.m., she was awakened from sleep on couch in front room of home on 400 block of West Douglas Avenue; woman then “noticed subject dressed in all black was on her front porch, looking through the home’s front window.”
Vandalism: A 53-year-old man reported between 10 p.m. Sept. 28 and 9 a.m., black marker used to print “HC” on garage door of home on 1100 block of Piccadilly Circle.
Vandalism: A 41-year-old woman reported before 9:22 a.m., decorations pulled up from lawn and lawn chair damaged outside home on 900 block of Queensbury Court.
Trespassing: Albano Bylyku, 38, 1300 block of Crab Apple Court; 11:11 a.m. at unidentified business on 500 block of Weston Ridge Drive; charged with criminal trespass to building and disorderly conduct.
Shoplifting: Claudia P. Gonzalez, 49, Lisle; and her sister, Luisa Montijo, age and hometown not provided; 1:46 p.m. at Menards, 715 Fort Hill Drive; charged with retail theft for putting numerous, unspecified items with total estimated value of $60 into Montijo’s purse and then leaving store without paying for them.
Trespassing: A 72-year-old man reported between Sept. 19 and 2:59 p.m., garbage strewn inside house slated for demolition on 200 block of West Van Buren Avenue; man requested extra police patrol of area.
DUI: Randolph E. Gatz, 40, Aurora; 7:16 p.m. near Delta Sonic Car Wash, 1780 North Aurora Road; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance, disobeying a traffic signal and failure to signal.
DUI: Nicholas R. White, 32, Joliet; 10:14 p.m. near Royal Worlington Drive and Route 59; charged with DUI, driving without insurance and speeding.
