Wednesday, Nov. 6
1Hit and run: Between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. today, a vehicle illegally parked in the 1800 block of Shetland Road was struck by another vehicle, the driver of which then fled.
Thursday, Nov. 7
2Marijuana possession: Blaze T. Miller, 18, 1000 block Bainbridge; 12:37 a.m. near Raymond Drive and Brookdale Road; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
3Failure to yield: Cesar Limas, whose age and hometown were not provided, was ticketed for failing to yield when turning left and driving without a license at 5:58 a.m., after he turned west and into the path of a southbound vehicle on Route 59 at North Aurora Road.
4Driving too fast: An unidentified driver was cited for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident, after hitting another vehicle at 6:44 a.m. near Plainfield-Naperville Road and 95th Street.
5Deer vs. vehicle: A motorist struck a deer while eastbound on Royce Road at Lindenwood Lane at 6:34 a.m.
6Improper backing: An unidentified driver was ticketed for improper backing after hitting another motorist’s car at 7:40 a.m. near Hillside Road and Washington Street.
7Marijuana possession: Joseph Redmond, 23, 2500 block Bordeau Lane; 11:55 a.m. at home; charged with possession of more than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia, improper turn at an intersection, and defective side/rear/windshield.
8Outstanding warrant: Michael J. Niewiedzial, 51, 300 block of North Charles Avenue; 2:39 p.m. at 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged on a warrant for retail theft.
9Improper lane usage: The driver of a silver 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, whose name was not provided, received a ticket after striking another vehicle at 5:07 p.m. while southbound on Route 59 north of North Aurora Road, trying to merge into the adjacent lane in a construction zone. The Grand Prix was towed from the scene.
10Uninsured vehicle: The unidentified driver of a vehicle that hit another at Interstate 88 and Route 59 was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle at 6:03 p.m.
11Improper start: Jaalon M. Meaderdes, whose age and hometown were not provided, received a ticket for improper start after a collision at Westings Avenue and Route 59 at 6:30 p.m.
12No license: Andre P. Norris, 21, 1600 block Coach Drive; 8:32 p.m. near South Naper Boulevard and Bailey Road; charged with muffler defects/no muffler, expired registration and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
13Driving too fast: Michelle Allen, whose age and hometown were not provided, received a ticket for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a collision at 9:04 p.m. near Washington Street and East Fifth Avenue.
14Marijuana possession: Juan M. Lucio, 22, 400 block of South Whispering Hills Drive; 9:47 p.m. near Ogden and Quincy avenues; charged with marijuana possession and improper turning at an intersection.
Friday, Nov. 8
15DUI: Sophia M. Dbila, 24, Montgomery; 1:26 a.m. at Ogden Avenue near Feldott Lane; charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
