Monday, Dec. 2
1Burglary: Between 2 p.m. Nov. 27 and 5 a.m. today, power tools stolen from construction trailer parked near Ferry Road and Route 59.
2Property damage: Between Nov. 29 and 7:30 a.m. today, small tree damaged near playground of Kendall Elementary School, 2408 Meadow Lake Drive.
3Property damage: Between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 1 and 8:19 a.m., broken bricks used to damage vehicle and five panes of glass on garage on 1200 block of Clyde Drive.
4Property damage: Between 9 a.m. Dec. 1 and 9:30 a.m. today, screw used to flatten tire of vehicle parked on 2800 block of Gypsum Circle.
5Identity theft: Jeremy M. Laskewich, 24, Chicago; 3:43 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with identity theft and theft.
6Shoplifting: Elizabeth J. McCown, 32, 1000 block of North Mill Street; 4:35 p.m. at Jewel-Osco, 127 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with retail theft.
7Suspended license: Cheryl O. Chambliss, 32, Westmont; 5:06 p.m. near Ferry Road and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and blocking an intersection with her vehicle.
8Hit and run: About 5:40 p.m., two women struck in crosswalk at Jefferson Avenue and Washington Street by small, two-door, red car making right turn on red; women not seriously injured; driver and car fled from scene.
9Disorderly conduct: About 7:55 p.m., police investigated argument on 2500 block of Bangert Lane concerning a resident “not removing his dog from caller’s property upon request.”
10Citizen assist: About 8:04 p.m., two people involved in argument on 1000 block of Mandalay Court “indicated that they wanted to speak with a police officer regarding questions they had.”
11Special patrol request: About 8:47 p.m., special police patrol requested on 0-99 block of South Mill Street; report provided no further information.
Tuesday, Dec. 3
12Trespassing: About 10:32 a.m., unidentified male or female ticketed for trespassing at unidentified location on 1400 block of East Ogden Avenue.
13Driving under the influence: Brittany L. Tripp, 27, Sugar Grove; 8:59 p.m. near Feldott Lane and Ogden Avenue; charged with DUI/drugs, operating a vehicle while texting, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and improper lane use.
14No insurance: Nicole R. Cohn, 23, 1200 block of Springdale Circle; 10:25 p.m. near Tamahawk Lane and Alandale Circle; charged with driving without insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with an expired registration.
15Unlicensed driver: Federico Pacheco-Gonzalez, 20, Woodridge; 10:31 p.m. near Sycamore Drive and Washington Street; charged with driving without a license.
16Property damage: Dean L. Tanis, 55, 500 block of Spring Avenue; 10:42 p.m. near Spring Avenue and Ewing Street; charged with criminal damage to property.
Wednesday, Dec. 4
17Marijuana possession: Andrew C. Erber, 21, 1200 block of Gregory Court; 12:56 a.m. near Westglen Drive and Modaff Road; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
18Forgery: Kopi U. Cosey-Edwards, 26, 2300 block of Overlook Court; 2:27 a.m. at the Aurora police station, 1200 E. Indian Trail Road, Aurora; charged with forgery.
19Trespassing: About 4:46 a.m., unidentified homeless man or woman found causing a disturbance on 800 block of South Washington Street, at or near Edward Hospital; no arrest made.
20Shoplifting: Amanda D. Lavendeer, 24, Aurora; 8:36 a.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; surrendered on outstanding warrant for arrest for retail theft.
21Driving under the influence: Warren L. Lindemulder, 58, Elmhurst; 12:17 p.m. in Freedom Commons shopping center, Independence and Freedom drives; charged with DUI, illegal possession or transportation liquor and improper lane use.
22Traffic crash: About 4:15 p.m., two vehicles collided in intersection of Fifth Avenue and Columbia Street; one vehicle ran off roadway and down embankment, where it struck a tree; no one injured; no tickets issued because “neither driver observed the other” in time to avoid crash.
