1Theft: A 52-year-old woman reported between noon and 4 p.m., $25 gift card stolen from envelope placed inside mailbox outside home on 1700 block of Fender Road; thief then left torn-open envelope in mailbox.
Friday, Dec. 13
2No insurance: About 10:24 a.m., unidentified motorist drove into opposite lane of traffic and struck two cars parked near Gowdey Road and Route 59; motorist ticketed for driving without insurance; driver then “advised (police) he was sick” and was taken by ambulance to Edward Hospital in Naperville.
3Special police watch: About 2:41 p.m., police ordered special watch on 1800 block of Ferry Road following “report of possible fight Friday evening.”
4Suspended license: Lucinda Hill, 45, Aurora; 8:26 p.m. near 95th Street and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license.
5No insurance: About 10:36 p.m., unidentified driver’s vehicle slid on snowy pavement and rear-ended other vehicle near Ogden Avenue and Columbia Street; at-fault driver cited for driving without insurance.
6Leaving traffic crash scene: Olalekan M. Bashiru, 23, Chicago; 10:38 p.m. at 35 S. West St.; charged with leaving scene of accident involving vehicle damage.
7Warrants: Cameron D. Archibald, 19, and Carlos S. Romero, 18, both of same unit of apartment building on 700 block of Royal St. George Drive; 11:12 p.m. at home; Archibald picked up on $2,000 arrest warrant; Romero picked up on $1,000 arrest warrant.
Saturday, Dec. 14
8Driving under the influence: Manuel J. Almada-Cruz, 29, Aurora; 3:54 a.m. near Crosstown Pub & Grill, 909 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with DUI.
9Shoplifting: About 2:29 p.m., unidentified male or female walked out of unidentified store on 200 block of South Route 59 without paying for pair of boots; shoplifted gave boots back when confronted by store employee; report provided no further information.
10Retail theft: About 6:40 p.m., retail theft occurred at unidentified business on 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue; report provided no further information.
11Theft: A 21-year-old woman reported between noon and 10 p.m., $100 stolen from her room at unidentified hotel or motel on 1500 block of Naperville-Wheaton Road.
12Suspended license: Iqbal M. Jaffer, 56, Bolingbrook; 10:33 p.m. near Foxcroft Road and Washington Street; charged with driving with a suspended license.
13Warrant arrest: Jovanne F. Muro, 28, 1500 block of Raymond Drive; 11:40 p.m. on 500 block of Spring Avenue; arrested on $10,000 warrant involving “suspicious incident.”
Sunday, Dec. 15
14Aggravated battery: Ralph Carter, 40, 2900 block of White Thorn Circle; 12:40 a.m. at home; charged with aggravated battery and resisting a peace officer.
15Fighting: Alfonso J. Herrera, 24, 2300 block of Overlook Court; 1:19 a.m. at Rizzo’s, 6 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with fighting when he “punched bouncer after being asked to leave the bar.”
16DUI: Gabriel Equihua-Gasca, 37, Oak Brook; 1:36 a.m. near Fifth Avenue and Washington Street; charged with DUI, driving without a license and a headlights violation.
17DUI: Yasmin Alonso, 21, Aurora; 2:13 a.m. near Quincy and Ogden avenues; charged with two counts DUI and one count each crossing double yellow line in roadway, improper lane use, speeding and unauthorized use of handicapped parking placard.
18Disorderly conduct: About 3:53 a.m., unidentified male or female on 800 block of South Washington Street “called 911 when there was no emergency.”
19Vehicle burglary: A 57-year-old man reported between 12:01 and 8 a.m., unlocked vehicle entered while parked in driveway of home on 1100 block of Summit Hill Lane; nothing apparently stolen.
20Shoplifting: About 10:06 a.m., unidentified male or female taken into custody for retail theft from unidentified business on 700 block of Fort Hill Drive; report provided no further information.
21Suspended license: Sergio Miranda, 21, Downers Grove; 5:18 p.m. following rear-end traffic crash near Jimmy’s Grill, 245 S. Washington St.; charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
22Disorderly conduct: A 17-year-old girl reported about 8:45 p.m., disorderly conduct occurred on 500 block of North Webster Street; report provided no further information.
23Marijuana possession: Nina A. Rzeszutko, 18, 100 block of Coventry Court; 9:44 p.m. near 75th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a traffic control device.
