These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Friday, Dec. 20

1Suspended license: Marcus D. Walton, 22, Columbia, Mo.; 1:25 a.m. near Hillside Road and West Street; charged with driving with a suspended license.

2Suspicious incident: Between 10 p.m. Dec. 19 and 4 a.m., exterior water faucet turned on at rear of house on 1100 block of Kenilworth Circle; no property damage reported.

3Property damage: A 73-year-old woman reported between 9:50 and 10 a.m., unidentified motorist drove away from area after vehicle struck and damaged mailbox and mounting post outside home on 1600 block of Indian Knoll Road.

4Assault: An 18-year-old woman reported about 12:43 p.m., unidentified male or female juvenile approached and threatened her near Bailey Road and Washington Street; juvenile “later arrested and released to parents.”

5Suspended license: Victor Rojas, 41, Warrenville; 1:58 p.m. near Sixth Avenue and Mill Street; charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.

6Fugitive: Helen F. Bays, 49, Broadview; 6:34 p.m. at Marshalls, 240 S. Route 59; charged with being fugitive from justice, obstruction of justice and retail theft.

7Suspicious incident: A 37-year-old woman reported about 7:22 p.m., unidentified male “trying to sell magazines for some kind of handicapped kids’ organization” came to door of her home on 700 block of Benedetti Drive; male “did not produce any kind of identification” and left area.

8Narcotics possession: Benjamin J. Ameiss, 20, 1300 block of Leakwood Court; 7:40 p.m. at home; charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9Harassment: Rena D. Petkus, 48, Oswego; 9:34 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with telephone harassment.

Saturday, Dec. 21

10Drunken pedestrian: About 1:15 a.m., unidentified male or female juvenile ticketed for being drunken pedestrian in roadway on 4200 block of Clearwater Lane.

11Fighting: Leonard A. Stimage, 29, 2100 block of Allegre Circle; 1:40 a.m. at Rizzos, 6 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with fighting, after “punching another male in the face.”

12Driving under the influence: Matthew S. Beese, 30, Montgomery; 1:42 a.m. near Jewel-Osco, 1759 W. Ogden Ave.; charged with two counts DUI and a headlights violation.

13Fighting: Ronald J. Schergen, 28, Chicago; 2:01 a.m. outside Features Bar & Grill, 14 W. Chicago Ave.; charged with fighting.

14DUI: Luis M. Lozano, 33, Plainfield; 2:20 a.m. near Tamarack Avenue and Washington Street; charged with DUI, driving without insurance, improper lane use and speeding.

15Fighting: Brian D. Kannry, 23, 1100 block of Shamrock Court; and Jose D. Frias-Valderrama, 35, and Pablo Frias-Valderrama, 23, both of Glendale Heights; 2:35 a.m. at or near Bar Louie, 22 E. Chicago Ave.; charged with fighting “after getting into a physical altercation” following bar closing.

16Theft: A 38-year-old man reported between 10 p.m. Dec. 20 and 8 a.m., lock severed or broken off bicycle secured in bike rack outside unidentified business on 2800 block of 95th Street.

17Vehicle damage: A 41-year-old woman reported between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 20 and 10 a.m., all four tires flattened on 2004 Nissan parked in lot on 1500 block of Fairway Drive.

18Burglary: A 56-year-old woman reported between Dec. 17 and 1:02 p.m. today, several unspecified pieces of property stolen during burglary of unoccupied house on 1300 block of North Webster Street; at 6:56 p.m., in same case, Jennifer L. O’Connor, 44, 2200 block of Woodland Circle, arrested and charged with criminal trespass to residence.

19Property damage: Kyle G. Hlavaty, 20, 1200 Hearthside Court; 9:37 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with knowingly damaging property and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

20DUI: Rigoberto Herrera-Camarena, 38, Aurora; 10:31 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and West Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without a license, driving without insurance and improper lane use.
