Naperville police are looking for information concerning burglaries from lawn care and maintenace trailers around the city.
On Oct. 11, 20 and 30, someone cut fences and forced entry to multiple locked trailers belonging to various lawn care and maintenance companies in the 1700 block of North Aurora Road in Naperville, removing a wide variety of blowers, weed trimmers, hedge trimmers, stick-edgers, and chainsaws.
The incident on Oct. 20 happened at about 7:20 p.m. The burglary was interrupted by returning employees that observed a black Toyota Highlander driving from the lot at a high rate of speed.
The driver was described as possibly being a male white of Hispanic descent with a mustache.
All of the victim businesses border the north side of the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railway tracks, and in two of the incidents, the offenders used a gravel access road by the tracks to reach the rear fence areas of the businesses.
