If you're ready for an evening of exciting and uplifting live music, then the Crystal Lake Strikers invite you to An Evening of Percussion at Raue Center For The Arts on Feb. 22. Offering a unique stage performance with tickets starting at just $6 for students, the Strikers can change the way you think about spending an evening at the theater.
All-stars and students on one stage
The Crystal Lake Strikers are comprised of talented adult percussionists who play snare, tenor and bass drums as well as cymbals. You can easily spot the Strikers with their zebra-skin drums and casual bowling uniforms. They will be accompanied by up-and-coming high school percussionists from the local community, including Potts and Pans, Hannah Beardsley, Prairie Ridge High School Percussion, Martin Elementary, and more.
The hip-hop and jazz beats of the Strikers are enjoyed by all audiences and performed with the classic jazz drummer philosophy to lighten up and have a good time. While typical venues for the Strikers are parades and sporting events, they are at home on the stage where they deliver a high-energy performance.
