Sleigh rides: Enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride from noon until 3 p.m. every Sunday in January and February at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County’s Danada Equestrian Center, 3s507 Naperville Road, in Wheaton. Then, warm up at a crackling fire. Rides are on a first-come, first-served basis and last about 15 minutes. Day-of tickets are $5 per adult and $2 for children ages 5 to 12, with children younger than 5 riding free. Hay wagons are used if there is less than 4 inches of snow on the ground.
