Emily

Age: 3 years old

Breed: Miniature pinscher mix

Personality: Emily loves adults and does great with kids who are gentle with her. Emily enjoys the company of other dogs and has a wonderful time dashing about the yard with her two and four-footed friends. She especially likes going for walks and behaves well on a leash.

Other: She really likes her crate and often takes naps in it. She already is housebroken, spayed and current on her shots.

Adoption fee: $200, which includes microchipping

Babs

Age: 2-1/2 years old

Breed: Domestic short hair, black

Background: Babs was found as a stray in the freezing cold.

Personality: Babs will sleep on her foster mom’s desk for hours. She likes to find hiding spots for sleeping, but she’ll call when her name is called. Babs can be shy around new people, but with time, she will warm up and be held and petted. She uses her scratching post. Babs is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vetting.

Louci

Age: 4 months old

Breed: Boxer/lab mix

Background: Louci was found on the side of a country road.

Personality: Louci is a typical puppy and gets along with all people, dogs and cats. She loves to fetch and retrieve. She is house and crate trained, and sleeps through the night. She loves to play, so a family with another dog or a family who would take Louci to the dog park would be great. Louci is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventative.

Bonnie

Age: 5 years old

Breed: Short-haired Calico

Background: Bonnie has been in foster care since she was a kitten, along with her three sisters.

Personality: Bonnie is a little shy with strangers, but once she gets to know you, she should be fine. She is a gentle girl and loves to play with her sisters.

Other: Spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Rocco

Age: 9 months old

Breed: Pit bull terrier

Background: Rocco was brought to ADOPT in a shelter transfer from Aurora in early December.

Personality: Rocco is a favorite with the staff at ADOPT. He’s a friendly pup with a great temperament. Rocco knows many commands like: sit, stay, heel, down and no. Rocco is 38 pounds of pure puppy love. He much prefers snuggling to playing or fooling around.

Other: All animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped and are up to date on age-related vaccines.

Tonka

Age: 3 years old

Breed: Gray tabby

Background: Tonka came to ADOPT in April when his owner could no longer care for him.

Personality: Tonka is one of our king-sized cats, but he’s got a heart to match. He is a two-paw declaw that will purr up a storm when he cuddles next to you. His brother Ryder was adopted.

Adoption fee: $100
