Naperville Community Television (NCTV17) is providing viewers with lots of exciting programming this week.

On Monday, Mayor A. George Pradel presented his 18th annual State of the City Address. He highlighted numerous events in 2012 such as the demolition of a downtown eyesore, the many changes in city staff and the opening of multiple businesses. He also announced that the city is entering 2013 with a balanced budget, bringing a positive look into the new fiscal year. If you missed his presentation, NCTV17 is rebroadcasting his speech in its entirety.

Tune in to NCTV17 at 8 p.m. Feb. 3 for the second episode of “Naperville Notables.” This month, Executive Director Liz Spencer sits down and talks in-depth with Naper Settlement’s outgoing President and CEO Peggy Frank.

A new episode of “Naperville Sports Weekly Plus” is now airing. Join host Alex Symonds as he discusses the successful fall seasons of Neuqua Valley Football with coach Bill Ellinghaus and Naperville North Cross Country with coach Dan Iverson.

And don’t forget to vote for Naperville Sports Weekly’s Play of the Month! This month we feature seven athletes with outstanding plays in boys’ and girls’ basketball, girls’ gymnastics and bowling. Sponsored by Continental Motors, voting at nctv17.com ends Feb. 3.
