Naperville blogger ATA Girl loves just the facts

Alissa Anthony loves the small things in life. The 20-year-old Naperville resident has a strong interest in facts and tidbits of information. Anthony records her newly found facts on her blog ATA Girl.
“I started to realize that the simplest things really are interesting and inspiring to others, and my daily routines and experiences can influence and educate others,” Anthony said.
Anthony, an avid blog reader herself, found inspiration in the creativity of other bloggers. Her facts range from fun to the bizarre. Anthony’s passion for learning lends a hand to her blog, since most of the facts and information come from research conducted in her spare time.
“Most of what I post is inspired by a picture that I see that I think is cool, then I will look up facts about the topic and write what I think is interesting or unusual,” Anthony said. “I love knowing random bits of information about things.”
Anthony offers facts ranging from sea otters to self-image, from the funny to the helpful. However, her true passion is for science. Anthony, a science major at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, posts many topics in various fields of science that will interest those without a scientific mind.
“I really love science and find myself looking up a ton of random science facts. Biology is definitely what intrigues me the most in the science field,” Anthony said. “I find every aspect of biology to be so interesting because it is what makes up everything.”
Readers of ATA Girl will not only learn new and interesting facts, but their love for learning also will be reignited. Anthony’s passion for knowledge is evident in every post and is sure to inspire readers to find a topic that sparks their interest.
“When people look at my blog, I hope that they are able to learn something new about whatever it is that interests them,” Anthony said.
