Hematologist and medical oncologist joins Edward Cancer Center

Dr. Samir Undevia, a hematologist and medical oncologist, is seeing patients at the Edward Cancer Center locations in Naperville and Plainfield.

Samir Undevia, a hematologist and medical oncologist, has joined the Edward Cancer Center.
Dr. Undevia has particular interests in bone and soft tissue sarcomas, benign and malignant hematology, and genitourinary malignancies.
Undevia is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine, as well as his fellowship in hematology/oncology, at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
In addition, Dr. Undevia is director of the Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Program for the University of Chicago Hospitals, where he remains on faculty.
He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology and Connective Tissue Oncology Society, and is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Undevia is seeing patients at the Edward Cancer Center in Naperville, on the campus of Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St., and at the Edward Cancer Center in Plainfield, 127th St. and Van Dyke Road. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Undevia, call 630-527-3788.
