Knoch Knolls Subdivision in Naperville celebrated their fifth annual Knoch Stock event Aug. 20.
The event included moon jumps and volleyball for the children. Braconi’s Pizza and Joey’s Red Hots provided the food.
Boy Scout Venture Crew 888 from Knoch Knolls conducted a collection of food items for troops serving overseas. Residents of the neighborhood also signed banners with messages and thanks, which will be included in the shipments overseas. These items will be delivered to Operation Support our Troops’ Lisle warehouse, where they will be shipped out.
Two bands provided music: The New Epidemic, whose members attend Neuqua Valley High School; and Tripple Shot, whose members John Didier, Tom Kennedy and Mike Hozian performed for the second year.
This is one of the largest family events in the neighborhood. Many family guests attended and also some members of the Naperville City Council. The neighborhood also has an annual parade to celebrate and honor the Fourth of July holiday.
