ADOPT Pet Shelter

Rascal has been at ADOPT since April of this year and is 3 years old. He is a big handsome guy who simply needs a soft pillow or warm lap to curl up on. He is not demanding with his time but would love a friendly pet now and then.

Ace is a happy 2-year-old shepherd lab mix. He is a sweet, playful dog who loves to play ball. He is very friendly and loves to be around people and other dogs. He’s easy to walk because he doesn’t pull. Ace is 38 pounds and on the smaller side of both breeds. Ace needs an active family who would involve him in their daily activities.

Learn more about the cats and dogs available for adoption at ADOPT Pet Shelter by calling 630-355-2299. The shelter is a no-kill, nonprofit, animal shelter at 420 Industrial Drive, Naperville. Visit www.adoptpetshelter.org.

Doey is a 5-year-old front-paw declawed kitty who loves lounging. She has a sweet and laid-back temperament. She’s good with other cats, some dogs and older children who are cat-savvy.

Blake is a 6-month-old exuberant hound mix puppy. He’s going to be a very large dog full grown, and will need someone patient to train him and give him exercise every day. He’s a special-needs puppy who has trouble walking from time to time. The staff at NAHS can answer any questions you might have about his condition.

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays; 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Diehl Road in Naperville or at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
