These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the reports include when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Friday, Jan, 27

1Possession of marijuana: Eric R. Tanaka, 19, Morton Grove; 1:12 a.m. on 100 block East Chicago Avenue; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of liquor by minor.

2Possession of marijuana: Mario Manzanarez, 19, Machesney Park; 1:40 a.m. on 1500 block Naperville-Wheaton Road; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

3Manufacturing marijuana: Richard Dillon Eppard, 19, Aurora; 1 p.m. on 5500 block Bergamot Lane; charged with manufacturing/delivering 10 to 30 grams marijuana.

4Theft: About 5:12 p.m. on 700 block Inland Circle, victim dropped cell phone and it was taken by an unknown person.

5Retail theft: Mitra Sanati, 42, 11S000 block of West Street; 5:39 p.m. on 1300 block South Route 59; charged with retail theft.

Saturday, Jan. 28

6Public urination: At 12:57 a.m. at Washington Street and Jackson Avenue, public urination.

7Suspicious incident: At 1:30 a.m. on 100 block North Columbia Street, homeowners reported hearing their sliding back door open and close; they looked out the window and saw a white male, 23 to 30 years old with a blue shirt, stumbling and apparently intoxicated walking west across Columbia; victims believed entry was made because they heard the door open twice; nothing missing in the home.

8Driving under the influence: Stefan Acevedo, 18, Aurora; 2:23 a.m. at North and Center streets; charged with DUI and wrong way driving.

9Suspicious incident: At 2:38 a.m. at Gartner Road and Julian Court, student was reported highly intoxicated, attempted to open back door on 600 block South Julian, and walked around vehicles in area.

10Possession of marijuana: Justin A.J. Lantz-Harris, 20, Aurora; 10:14 a.m. on 1600 block Naperville-Wheaton Road; charged with possession of marijuana, also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

11DUI: Charles Alan Mabrey, 53, Sandwich; 4:13 p.m. at Aurora and Ogden avenues; charged with driving under the influence of drugs and failure to reduce speed/driving too fast for conditions.

12Battery: At 4:56 p.m. at Chicago and Charles avenues, victim reported a battery that occurred after a road rage incident earlier in the day.

13Possession of controlled substance: Francis Patrick Erklin, 29, Downers Grove; 5:18 p.m. at Carrolwood Road and Blossom Court; charged with possession of controlled substance, retail theft, operating uninsured vehicle and driving on suspended/revoked license.

14Possession of marijuana: Mark Christopher Rosa, 22, 1200 block of Atlas Lane; 6:52 p.m. at home; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

15Retail theft: Ryan Scott Brown, 29, 2600 block of Carrolwood Road; 7:40 p.m. at home; charged with retail theft.

Sunday, Jan. 29

16Public urination: At 1:02 a.m. on 200 block South Washington Street, public urination.

17DUI: Mary Kathryn Lutz, 49, Bolingbrook; 1:39 a.m. at Fourth Avenue and Loomis Street; charged with DUI.

18DUI: Matthew Joseph Schilling, 30, 2600 block of Partlow Drive; 1:56 a.m. at Rickert Drive and 75th Street; charged with DUI.

19DUI: Karen Jean Blysma, 37, La Grange; 3:02 a.m. at Aurora and Ogden avenues; charged with DUI, speeding and operating uninsured vehicle.

20Property damage: Overnight, mailboxes were damaged on 400 block East Gartner Road, 800 block East Gartner Road, 900 block East Gartner Road, 1000 block East Gartner Road, 1100 block East Gartner Road, 1200 block East Gartner Road and 900 block Timber Lee Court.

21Suspicious incident: Between midnight and 1:42 p.m. on 1700 block Bucknell Court, residents heard banging noise coming from their garage around midnight; in the morning they discovered they could not open their garage door due to a broken cable for the door.

22Disorderly conduct: Ruth Ellen Matchette-Trucker, 50, 400 block of Prairie Avenue; 7:55 p.m. on 0-99 block Jackson Avenue; charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing/remaining on land and resisting peace officer after allegedly bringing alcohol into a restaurant, slapping someone, using profanities and refusing to leave.

23Unlicensed driver: Alberto Contreras, 31, West Chicago; 9:44 p.m. at Ferry Road and Route 59; charged with no driver’s license and improper lane usage.

24DUI: Deborah A. Fuller, 46, Aurora; 10:08 p.m. on 4000 block Chinaberry Lane; charged with DUI, unsafe tires, improper lane usage, no insurance and failure to notify damage to unattended vehicle.
