Evolution in the spotlight
At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church, 1828 Old Naperville Road, will present “Clearing Up the Misunderstandings: What is Evolution (Really) and Why do Biologists Believe it?”
Al Martin, professor of biology at Benedictine University, will define evolution as biologists use the concept and will attempt to clear up the many misunderstandings that people have about it.

Naperville READS program set
Students from Clow Elementary School and Gregory Middle School will share the stage with nationally recognized author Antonio Sacre on Thursday.
The students will be the opening act for a reading by Sacre as part of the Naperville READS 2012 program. The free public event begins at 7 p.m. in Wentz Hall in North Central College’s Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.

Trombone show at NCC
Acclaimed jazz faculty and trombonist Joel Adams performs at 8 p.m. Friday in Madden Theatre at North Central College’s Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.
