Friday, May 4
1Hit and run: About 2 a.m., hit and run occurred on 3300 block of Rosecroft Lane.
2Driving under the influence: Mariusz Zoladz, 47, 900 block of Dakota Circle; 2:05 a.m. near Diehl Road and Center Point Circle; charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, leaving scene of vehicular accident involving property damage, disobeying police order and driving without insurance, after he fled on foot and ignored police officer’s order to stop after his vehicle struck a streetlight pole.
3Theft: Between 8 and 8:12 a.m., unspecified theft occurred on 2100 block of CityGate Lane.
4Burglary: Philip L. Thorman, 27, 1500 block of Georgia Court; 12:41 p.m. at home; charged with burglary and possession of controlled substance.
5Theft: About 12:53 p.m., unspecified theft occurred on 700 block of Fort Hill Drive.
6Theft: About 1:36 p.m., unspecified theft occurred on 1300 block of South Route 59.
7No insurance: Jose L. Vargas, 29, North Aurora; 3:42 p.m. near Diehl Road and Route 59; charged with driving without insurance, driving without having license in possession, improper passing on shoulder and driving with expired registration.
8Revoked license: Ibrahim M. Hussain, 22, Carol Stream; 8:06 p.m. near Dearborn Court and Route 59; charged with driving while license revoked and improper display of license plate or permit.
9Theft: About 8:35 p.m., unspecified theft occurred on 2800 block of West Ogden Avenue; 50-year-old female victim declined to pursue criminal charges.
10Unlicensed driver: Rodimiro Velasquez, 24, Lisle; 10:15 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Webster Street; charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance.
11Hit and run: About 10:56 p.m., 47-year-old woman reported being victim of hit and run on 600 block of South Route 59.
Saturday, May 5
12Unlicensed driver: Gabriel Hernandez, 20, Aurora; 1:04 a.m. near 75th and Washington streets; charged with driving without a license and speeding.
13DUI: Dale J. Hanson, 28, Lisle; 1:09 a.m. near West Van Buren Avenue and South Main Street; charged with two counts of DUI and one count each of driving without insurance, disregarding a stop sign and improper use of headlights.
14DUI: Meghan S. Kelly, 26, 1500 block of Abbotsford Drive; 1:20 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and River Road; charged with DUI, driving without insurance and improper lane use.
15DUI: Erich B. Vora, 28, 2700 block of Blakely Lane; 1:29 a.m. at home; charged with DUI, improper use of headlights, disregarding a stop sign, failure to signal and failure to notify secretary of state’s office of change of address.
16DUI: Waverly B. Jordan, 33, Aurora; 2:04 a.m. near Ferry Road and Route 59; charged with two counts of DUI and one count each of making an improper U-turn and driving with an expired registration.
17DUI: Angela J. Champion, 24, Aurora; 2:15 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Berry Court; charged with two counts of DUI and one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without having license in possession and speeding 68 mph in 40 mph zone.
18Vehicle burglary: Sometime before 3 a.m., GPS unit stolen from vehicle parked on 1700 block of Clyde Drive.
19Marijuana possession: Monique N. Cruz, 29, Minooka; 3:03 a.m. near Bayhill Avenue and Naper Boulevard; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal possession or transportation of liquor and speeding.
20License plate violation: Wayne T. Alsander, 22, Plainfield; 3:38 a.m. near New York Street and Route 59, Aurora; charged with driving with broken rear registration light; also wanted on a warrant.
21DUI: Vlatko Nikolovski, 26, 700 block of South Wright Street; 4:29 a.m. near Dominick’s Finer Foods, 1555 North Aurora Road; charged with two counts of DUI and one count each of disregarding a traffic signal and improper lane use.
22Marijuana possession: Mindaugas Skurvydas, 18, 6S500 block of Naper Boulevard; and Christopher C. Bakas, 18, Lisle; 2:25 p.m. on the 1300 block of North Main Street; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
23Suspended license: Daniel A. Desler, 24, Oswego; 8:20 p.m. near 75th Street and Rickert Drive; charged with driving while license suspended.
24Hit and run: Between 7 and 9:30 p.m., 28-year-old man reported being victim of hit and run on 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue.

25Unlicensed driver: Leopoldo Escamilla-Vergel, 26, Aurora; 12:24 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive; charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and speeding.
26DUI: Aaron V. Brooks, 22, Aurora; 1:34 a.m. near the Red Roof Inn, 1698 W. Diehl Road; charged with two counts of DUI and one count of improper lane use.
27Drunken pedestrian: Jose L. Granados, 27, 24W600 block of Parkview Court; 2:07 a.m. near Jefferson Avenue and Washington Street; charged with being pedestrian under the influence, interfering with police and resisting arrest.
28Aggravated assault: Mohamed A. Sheikh, 23, Carol Stream; 2:24 a.m. on the 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue; charged with aggravated assault and obstruction of justice in incident involving 26-year-old man.
29DUI: Joseph A. Morrow, 27, Romeoville; and Anthony J. Thor, 27, Worth; 2:46 a.m. near Foxcroft Road and Washington Street; Morrow charged with two counts of DUI and one count each of improper lane use, improper use of headlights and speeding; Thor charged with allowing person under the influence to operate a vehicle and interfering with police.
30Phony identification: Ashley A. Benson, 20, Manhattan; and Melanie N. Populurum, 20, New Lenox; 4 a.m. at the Lantern, 8 W. Chicago Ave.; charged with possession of false identification cards.
31Marijuana possession: Tyler J. Newberry, 18, Bolingbrook; 2:03 a.m. near Naper Boulevard and Washington Street; charged with possession of 30 grams or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
32Telephone harassment: Kortney M. Patrick, 29, 500 block of Kiowa Drive; 4:46 p.m. at home; charged with harassment by telephone.
33Suspended license: Anselmo Castaneda, 45, Bolingbrook; 10:54 p.m. near 75th Street and Beebe Drive; charged with driving while license suspended and failure to wear a seat belt.
