These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Sunday, Sept. 30

1Theft: A 54-year-old woman reported between 9 a.m. Sept. 29 and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 30, tree was chopped down and stolen from outside home on 2700 block of Flagstone Circle.

Monday, Oct. 1

2Burglary to vehicle: Between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 30 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 1 on the 600 block of North Avenue; a medical bag, GPS and a phone charger were stolen from a vehicle.

3Damage to property: During the night at Chicago Avenue and Charles Street; graffiti was painted on two traffic signals.

4Theft: During the afternoon on the 200 block of South Route 59; a cap was stolen from a store.

5Driving without a license: Carlos Rosas-Negrete, 34, Aurora; 5:06 p.m. at Aurora Avenue and West Street; charged with driving without a license and failure to reduce speed.

6Possession of marijuana: Patrick J. Heinz, 30, 3700 block of Sunburst Drive; 8:47 p.m. on the 1800 block of West Diehl Road; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance and illegal possession of liquor by a driver; Lisa R. Elkins, 24, 24W700 block of Blackstone Court; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of liquor by a passenger.

7Driving without a license: Adolfo L. Villanueva, 36, 300 block of West Jefferson Avenue; 1:04 a.m. at Aurora Avenue and Wild Cherry Road; charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

8Suspended license: Oscar A. Vazquez, 22, Plano; 1:38 a.m. near Gowdey Road and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without rear registration or license plate.

9Suspended license: Craig Little, 51, 700 block of Inland Circle; 5:13 a.m. near Diehl and Winfield roads; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.

10Theft: About 8:21 a.m., white man loaded three bales of straw onto bed of pickup truck at business on 900 block of West 75th Street and drove away without paying for them.

11Suspicious incident: Between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1 and 9:36 a.m. Oct. 2, suspicious incident or circumstances occurred on 1600 block of Ranchview Drive; report provided no further information.

12Neighbor dispute: A 50-year-old man reported having trouble with neighbor about 9:54 a.m. on 800 block of Buttonwood Circle.

13Battery: Julia M. Skerrett, age and home town not provided; 11:05 a.m. on 2500 block of Versailles Avenue; charged with battery.

14Burglary: A 51-year-old woman reported between 5 p.m. Oct. 1 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 2, white-colored girls’ bicycle with light blue lettering stolen from open garage of home on 2900 block of Kilburne Lane.

15Shoplifting: About 11:54 a.m., 15 eyeglass frames stolen from business on 600 block of South Route 59; possible suspect described as black man in his 50s, standing 6 feet tall, with average build and short hair.

16Unlicensed driver: Zhanna A. Williams, 18, 2800 block of Gypsum Circle; 1:53 p.m. near 87th Street and Modaff Road; charged with driving without a license, possession of marijuana, driving without insurance and speeding.

17Battery: Robert E. Daughters, 56, Lisle; 5:50 p.m. at Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with battery.
