These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Friday, Nov. 2
1Driving under the influence: Sean M. Tully, 31, Oak Forest; 12:12 a.m. near 75th Street and Bell Drive; charged with DUI, driving with an expired registration and speeding.
2Trespassing: William J. Erklin, age and home town not provided; 3:57 p.m. on 200 block of East Fifth Avenue; charged with criminal trespass to land, after being found sleeping in stairwell.
3Suspended license: Mohammed M. Masoud, 23, Chicago Ridge; 6:33 p.m. near Aurora and Ogden avenues; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and failing to yield at a private road or drive.
4DUI: Carmen R. Lumpkin, 53, 5S700 block of Malibu Lane; 8:49 p.m. near Diehl Road and Ketten Drive; charged with DUI and illegal lane usage.
5Property damage: A 36-year-old woman reported about 9:06 p.m., driver or passenger in vehicle with loud muffler hurled pumpkin that damaged mailbox outside home on 900 block of Elm Street.
6Weapons possession: About 9:19 p.m., unidentified man or woman charged with unlawful weapons possession, after being found with switchblade knife on 2200 block of Corporate Lane.
7Fighting: A 21-year-old woman reported between 11:15 and 11:29 p.m., brawl involving 30 people erupted on 1800 block of North Naper Boulevard; two people doused with pepper spray.
Saturday, Nov. 3
8Battery: A 50-year-old man reported being victim of battery about 1 a.m. at apartment building on 700 block of Inland Circle.
9Public urination: About 1:36 a.m., unidentified man or woman charged with public urination on 100 block of South Washington Street.
10Public urination: Giovanna N. Hildago, 24; 1100 block of Sandpiper Lane; 1:59 a.m. near The Lantern, 8 W. Chicago Ave.; charged with public urination and interfering with an officer.
11Shoplifting: About 12:21 p.m., manager of unidentified business on 100 block of West Gartner Road reported unidentified subjects put two items with total value of $7 inside canvas shopping bag and left store.
12Public urination: About 1 p.m., two unidentified men or women cited for public urination at city of Naperville public parking deck, 75 E. Chicago Ave.
13Trespassing: Nicholas Nakos, 47, 400 block of Valley Drive; 6:34 p.m. at Convenient Food & Liquor, 1029 W. Ogden Ave.; charged with criminal trespass to land.
14Shoplifting: Jennifer M. Calderon, 28; Daniel R. McLaughlin, 24; and Tiffany N. Samson, 21, all of Aurora; 7:38 p.m. at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft.
15Bail bond violation: Martinique E. McGriff, 20, 300 block of West Ogden Avenue; 9:24 p.m. at Ogden Avenue and Mill Street; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance, improper lane usage and violation of bail bond, after she posted bail and was released after being arrested six days earlier on the same charges; passenger Johnny L. Powell, 20, also of the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue, charged with marijuana possession, after police found small plastic bag filled with marijuana next to his seat and another small bag with marijuana residue in his pockets.
16Marijuana possession: Keegan R. Condon, 24, 300 block Westbrook Circle; 10:20 p.m. near city of Naperville public parking deck, 43 W. Van Buren Ave.; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, after being found slumped over inside car.
17Marijuana possession: Isiah S. Randolph, 19, 3900 block Garnette Court; and Daniel E. Paschal, 18, 300 block Gateshead Drive; 11:23 p.m. near home on 1300 block of Keats Avenue; both charged with possession of marijuana; Randolph also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
18Public drinking: About 11:39 p.m., five unidentified subjects found drinking alcoholic beverage inside vehicle parked on 1400 block of East Chicago Avenue, after a citizen called police; all ticketed for illegal consumption of alcohol.
Sunday, Nov. 4
19Warrant arrest: Hal F. Olmedo, 23, 100 block of Robin Hill Drive; 12:01 a.m. near Jackson Avenue and Washington Street; arrested on a DUI warrant; Olmedo was reported to police as a “highly-intoxicated patron (who) punched metal street pole downtown.”
20DUI: Richard Ortiz Jr., 23, North Aurora; 1:15 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance and improper lane usage.
21DUI: Paul A. Trotto, 22, 900 block East Bailey Road; 1:52 a.m. near Bunting Lane and Washington Street; charged with DUI, driving the wrong way, illegal possession/transportation of alcohol, driving without insurance, driving without a front or rear license plate or permit displayed and speeding.
22DUI: Andrew M. Johnson, 27, Lake Bluff; 2:50 a.m. near Spicy Sizzlers, 2811 Patriot Lane; charged with two counts DUI.
23Property damage: A 53-year-old woman reported between 2 and 3 a.m., two windows of home on 5100 block of Connecticut Avenue damaged by BBs.
24Vehicle damage: A 56-year-old man reported sometime before 9:08 a.m., driver-side mirror damaged on vehicle parked on 1300 block of Fieldstone Court.
25Trespassing: Samuel A. French, 20, 7S600 block Carriage Way Drive; 7:50 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with trespass to a residence, resisting a peace officer, disorderly conduct and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
26Theft: A 40-year-old man reported between 5 p.m. Nov. 2 and 9:26 p.m. today, mailbox stolen outside home on 3900 block of Falcon Drive.
27DUI/drugs: Kayla M. Budd, 18, 300 block Pearson Circle; 9:40 p.m. near Jefferson Avenue and River Road; charged with two counts DUI/drugs and one count each possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of alcohol by a minor, consumption of alcohol by a minor, improper turning at intersection and driving with broken headlight.
Monday, Nov. 5
28Vehicle damage: A 49-year-old man reported between 9:30 p.m. Nov. 4 and 6:30 a.m., attempt was made to steal piece of grill from vehicle parked on 800 block of Beaumont Drive.
29Property damage: A 62-year-old woman reported between 9 p.m. Nov. 4 and 7 a.m., mailbox damaged outside home on 3700 block of Falkner Drive.
30Property damage: Sometime before 7:19 a.m., fire extinguishers discharged inside interiors of several construction vehicles and pieces of equipment on 900 block of School Avenue.
31Arson: Between 4:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and 10:30 a.m. today, bottom portion of slide set on fire on playground of Kendall Elementary School, 2408 Meadow Lake Drive.
32Identity theft: Sometime between Jan. 1 and 11:10 a.m. today, identity theft occurred on 200 block of East Fifth Avenue.
33Drug paraphernalia possession: About 7:40 p.m., unidentified man or woman arrested on 500 block of Du Pahze Street and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful consumption of alcohol.
34Unlicensed driver: Jose A. Cruz-Alvarado, 40, Carol Stream; 11:10 p.m. near Diehl Road and Washington Street; charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance.
