Naperville event to help link veterans with jobs

A job fair for veterans will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Tellabs, 1415 W. Diehl Road in Naperville.
The Hiring Our Heroes event is aimed at veterans seeking jobs, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses.
The event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Illinois Department of Employment Security, Tellabs, the Naperville Chamber of Commerce, the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, the Illinois Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the American Legion, Community Career Center, the Naperville Chamber of Commerce, Operation Support Our Troops- America, Veterans Assistance Commission of DuPage County, workNet DuPage, and NBC News.
