These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Monday, Oct. 15
1Theft: Sometime between March 1 and Oct. 15, jewelry was taken from an unlocked safe in the 1000 block of Book Court.
Thursday, Nov. 1
2Burglary from motor vehicle: Between 7 and 11:30 p.m., a laptop computer was taken from an unlocked vehicle left in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Aurora Avenue.
Friday, Nov. 9
3Suspended license: Harlan J. Baumgartner, 23, 1000 block of Hemlock Lane; 6:46 a.m. at Huntington Circle and Naper Boulevard; charged with driving with a suspended or revoked license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
4Battery: Christopher J. Lee, 36, 1800 block of Shetland Road; 12:25 p.m. on the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue; charged with battery.
5Damage to property: Between 5 p.m. Nov. 9 and 7:35 a.m. Nov. 10, a vehicle damaged a mailbox on the 2000 block of Cobblebrook Lane.
6Motor vehicle damage: Between 6 and 9:23 p.m., someone slashed tires and keyed the passenger side of a car on the 400 block of Kiowa Drive; damage was estimated at $700.
7Retail theft: Molly F. Aguilar, 18, Aurora; 7:17 p.m. on the 2500 block of West 75th Street; charged with retail theft.
8Retail theft: Courtney M. Kindernay, 19, Plainfield; 8:!0 p.m. on the 2500 block of West 75th Street; charged with retail theft.
9Retail theft: Karl Stewart, 43, Chicago; 8:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of South Sacramento; charged with retail theft and an outstanding warrant.
10Driving under the influence: Vincent F. Lewandowski, 47, Algonquin; 8:34 p.m. at 81st Street and Modaff Road; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol.
11DUI: James M. Kolar, 54, Aurora; 10:49 p.m. at White Eagle Drive and Deering Bay Drive; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
Saturday, Nov. 10
12DUI: Christopher P. Barclay, 29, Geneva; 1:43 a.m. at Butterfield Road and Route 59; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage.
13Resisting a peace officer: Adam R. Muller, 24, 1500 block of Warbler Drive; 1:55 a.m. in the 0-99 block of W. Chicago Avenue; charged with two counts of resisting a peace officer, disorderly conduct and filing a false report.
14DUI: James B. Vanderploeg, 33, 900 block of Winners Cup Court; 2:51 a.m. at Breckenridge Lane and Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
15Criminal damage to property: Between 9 a.m. Nov. 10 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 11, someone used a black marker to write on playground equipment in the 1000 block of Magnolia Lane.
16Battery: Jimmy J. Reed, 53, Waukegan; 5:54 p.m. in the 0-99 of South Whispering Hills Drive; charged with battery.
17Theft: Between 6:15 and 8 p.m. in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue, credit cards were taken from a person who was working.
18Burglary from motor vehicle: Between 8 p.m. Nov. 10 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 11, someone broke into a vehicle that was in for service in the 2400 block of Aurora Avenue.
19DUI: Matthew R. Wasinger, 34, St. Charles; 10:38 p.m. at East Ogden Avenue and North Washington Street; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
20Battery: Darren E. Hatchett, 24, Aurora, Erik L. Williams, 21, Aurora, and Steven C. Williams, 28, Aurora; 11:02 p.m. in the first block of West Jefferson Avenue; all three charged with battery, and Steven Williams additionally was charged with resisting a peace officer.
21Disorderly conduct: At 11:35 p.m., a resident reported that someone threw a pumpkin at a car parked in the 1100 block of Andover Court; there was no damage to the vehicle.
Sunday, Nov. 11
22Battery: Veronica A. Rodriguez, 29, Lisle; 1:25 a.m. in the 0-99 block of W. Jefferson Avenue; charged with battery, resisting a police officer and criminal trespass to a building.
23DUI: Andrew J. Adam, 32, 400 block Massachusetts Avenue; 2:01 a.m. at South Washington Street and Clyde Drive; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
24DUI: Matthew J. McWilliams, 23, Bellville; 2:32 a.m. at East Benton Avenue and North Brainard Street; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, disobeying a stop sign, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
25DUI: Pervis L. Craig, 28, Romeoville; 2:37 a.m. at Route 59 and 111th Street; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession/transportation of liquor by a driver and improper lane usage.
26Underage drinking: Vivana Gallegos, 19, 2400 block of Woodlake Court; 2:55 a.m. at East Ogden Avenue and North Washington Street; charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and theft of labor or services.
27DUI: Levonta T. James, 23, Aurora; 2:55 a.m. at East Ogden Avenue and North Washington Street; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended or revoked license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
28Obstructing identification: Larry D. Reynolds, 19, Aurora; 3 a.m. at East Ogden Avenue and North Washington Street; charged with obstructing identification and an outstanding warrant.
29Underage drinking: Lawrence G. Roberts, 19, Bolingbrook; 3:12 a.m. on 0-99 block of Testa Drive; charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor and theft of labor or services.
30Burglary from motor vehicle: Between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m., someone took a laptop computer from a BMW that had been left with its window partially open on the 500 block of South Washington Street.
31DUI: Theresa A. Snow, 51, 500 block of South Washington Street; 5:12 p.m. at Aurora Avenue and South Main Street; charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, failing to reduce speed and driving too fast for the conditions.
Monday, Nov. 12
32Possession of marijuana: Ross H. Hendricks, 22, Batavia; 12:04 a.m. in the 100 block of South Whispering Hills Drive; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
33No license: Monica L. Kuhn, 47, 1100 block of West Ogden Avenue; 8:35 a.m. at North Washington Street and West 11th Avenue; charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, driving without insurance/operating under suspension.
