Naperville man seriously injured in Thanksgiving motorcycle wreck

A Naperville man was in critical condition Thursday night after he was injured while riding his motorcycle in DeKalb County on Thanksgiving Day.
According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department, Paul L. Guinand, 64, of Naperville was riding his 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Route 30 west of University Road near Shabbona when he lost control of his vehicle. The motorcycle skidded into a ditch on the north side of the road, police said.
Guinand was transported by helicopter to Rockford Memorial Hospital. He was listed in critical condition late Thursday evening.
