To make dropping off recyclables easier, the city is moving its drop-off center to the northwest corner of the Public Works Service Center.
Starting Dec. 15, residents also will be able to drop off electronics on Saturdays, too — it had only been available Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The last day of operation at the center on Jefferson Avenue behind the southeast corner of 180 Fort Hill Drive will be Saturday, Dec. 8.
Residents will more easily be able to drop off electronics and traditional curbside recyclables, such as paper, plastic and glass, starting Dec. 11, when they enter the one-way drive off Fort Hill Drive and follow the lane designations to drop off items. All acceptable items, including electronics, may be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
