Additional sites to drop off burned-out Christmas lights

Will County has named four of its buildings as temporary collection sites for burned-out Christmas lights.
The four buildings join 13 permanent electronic recycling sites in an effort to encourage residents to recycle holiday lights.
Until mid-January, Christmas string lights may be dropped off at the County Office Building, 302 N. Chicago St., Joliet; Land Use, 58 E. Clinton St., Joliet; Emco building, 57 N. Ottawa St., Joliet; and Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County, 421 Doris Ave., Joliet.
Permanent residential recycling sites are at 299 Canterbury Lane, Bolingbrook; 25461 S. Fryer St., Channahon; 500 S. Kankakee, Godley; 14400 W. 151st St., Homer Glen; Forest Preserve District of Will County office, 17540 W. Laraway Road, Joliet; 17112 Prime Blvd., Lockport; 24645 S. Eastern Ave, Manhattan; 19004 Wolf Road, Mokena; Monee Reservoir, 27341 Ridgeland Ave, Monee; 1100 S. Cedar Road, New Lenox; 162 S. School St., Braidwood; 195 S. Budler Road, Romeoville; 30200 Town Center Road, Beecher; and Troy Township Highway Department, 25358 Seil Road, Shorewood
