These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Thursday, Nov. 29
1Theft: A 33-year-old man reported about 8 a.m., unidentified guest evicted from hotel on 1800 block of West Diehl Road for failure to pay $725 room rental bill.
Thursday, Dec. 6
2Theft: During the night on the 800 block of South West Street; a bicycle was stolen.
Sunday, Dec. 9
3Driving under the influence: John E. Dyer, 30, Glen Ellyn; 7:43 a.m. near Quincy and Ogden avenues; charged with DUI and improper lane use.
Monday, Dec. 10
4Vehicle burglary: Between 6 p.m. Dec. 8 and 7 a.m. Dec. 10, window was shattered on vehicle parked on 1400 block of West Ogden Avenue; unknown what, if anything, stolen.
5Trespassing: A 27-year-old woman reported between 2:30 and 3 p.m., unspecified instance of trespassing occurred inside garage of home on 2100 block of Country Lakes Drive.
6Theft: A 29-year-old man reported between 7 a.m. and 4:23 p.m., packages delivered by UPS stolen from front steps of home on 4000 block of Teak Circle.
7Suspended license: Matthew L. Strouse, 19, 1400 block of Lantern Circle; 4:49 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Millennium Lane; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving without valid registration.
8Marijuana possession: Leonard L. Wakefield, 26, Crest Hill; 10:51 p.m. near 104th Avenue and Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with possession of marijuana, illegal possession or transportation of liquor and improper lane use.
Tuesday, Dec. 11
9DUI: Shane B. Koesler, 26, Oswego; 12:10 a.m. near 75th Street and Route 59; charged with DUI and speeding.
10Unlicensed driver: Francisco Velazquez-Popoca, 58, Chicago; 9:15 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Route 59; charged with driving without a license and driving without license plates or permit.
11Forgery: About 11:11 a.m., employee of business on 1900 block of Brookdale Road called police and turned in counterfeit $20 bill she found in business’ safe.
12Theft: Mohammed S. Rafiuddin, 60, 100 block of East Bailey Road; 12:47 p.m. at Shell, 1707 S. Washington St.; charged with three counts of theft.

13Theft: During the night on the 900 block of West 75th Street; an inflatable Santa was stolen.
14Theft: Between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m. at Nichols Library, 200 W. Jefferson St.; a wallet was stolen from a stroller.
15Possession of drug paraphernalia: David B. Boies, 20, 500 block of Sevilla Avenue; 11:52 p.m. at Book Road and Tamahawk Lane; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a rear license plate light and no muffler.
16Possession of liquor by a minor: Steven T. Simmons, 18, 30W000 block of Valencia Court; 10:47 p.m. at River Road and Ogden Avenue; charged with possession of liquor by a minor, illegal possession of liquor by a driver, driving with a suspended license and violation of bail bond.
17Driving with a suspended license: Wynter K. Lopez, 33, 700 block of Inland Circle; 8:41 p.m. at Route 59 and La Fox Avenue; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
18Retail theft: Demarco T. Johnson, 18, 1500 block of Fairway Drive; 2:47 p.m. on the 700 block of South Route 59; charged with retail theft.
