These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Wednesday, Dec. 12
1Theft: Between 12:30 and 12:45 p.m., brown or tan Coach purse lost and apparently stolen while owner was shopping on 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
Thursday, Dec. 13
2Vehicle burglary: Between 2 and 3 p.m., Illinois State Toll Highway Authority transponder stolen from unlocked vehicle parked on 1500 block of Clemson Drive.
Friday, Dec. 14
3Suspended license: Vivian K. Turner-Weaver, 42, Oswego; 1:09 a.m. near Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway overpass and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
4Driving under the influence: Tami Lucibello, 41, 2800 block of Vernal Lane; 1:15 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Wild Cherry Road; charged with DUI, failure to signal and driving with no front or rear license plate or permit; passenger Michael A. Kollarits, 44, Golden, Colo., arrested on a warrant.
5DUI: Brenda G. Loth, 41, 2600 block of Wabash Court; 1:15 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Wild Cherry Road; charged with DUI, disregarding a stop sign and improper lane use.
6Marijuana possession: Ryan P. Whipple, 30, Crest Hill; 9:57 a.m. near Linden Oaks Hospital, 852 S. West St.; charged with possession of 2.5 grams or less marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
7Theft: Between 10 p.m. Dec. 13 and 12:44 p.m. Dec. 14, unspecified number and style of Christmas decorations stolen from front yard of home on 0-99 block of South Ewing Street.
8Suspended license: Joe S. Martinez, 36, Romeoville; 1:15 p.m. near 10th Avenue and Webster Street; charged with driving with a suspended license; also wanted on a warrant.
9Theft: Between 3 and 6:56 p.m., box and manilla envelope stolen off porch of house on 5100 block of Chokeberry Drive.
10DUI: Nubia B. Moreno, 57, Oswego; 8:22 p.m. near 75th Street and Millbrook Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without a license, failure to signal and improper lane use.
11Property damage: Between 8 and 8:30 p.m., window was broken on west side of home on 1200 block of North West Street.
12Battery: Kirk D. Stallworth, 43, 1500 block of West Jefferson Avenue; 10:12 p.m. at home; charged with battery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
13DUI: Melvin W. Sleight, 47, 200 block of East Fifth Avenue; 11:24 p.m. near Jefferson Avenue and Brainard Street; charged with two counts DUI.
Saturday, Dec. 15
14DUI: Pedro Losoya, 24, Aurora; 1:59 a.m. near Aurora and Ogden avenues; charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.
15DUI: Shawn P. Alesch, 28, Aurora; 2:57 a.m. near Liberty Street and Route 59, Aurora; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
16Vehicle burglary: Between 10:45 p.m. Dec. 14 and 11:08 a.m. Dec. 15, GPS unit and iPod stolen from unlocked vehicle parked on 200 block of Longleaf Drive.
17Vehicle burglary: Between 9:30 p.m. Dec. 14 and 11:39 a.m. Dec. 15, Garmin GPS unit stolen from vehicle parked on 1600 block of Westminster Drive.
18Theft: About 4:41 p.m., man stole two packets of cigarettes from a business on 1500 block of South Washington Street; thief described as tall, thin, white-haired white man in his 50s.
19Age misrepresentation: About 11:25 p.m., unidentified man tried to use uncle’s identification to enter Features Bar & Grill, 14 W. Chicago Ave.
Sunday, Dec. 16
20Vehicle burglary: Between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and 9:45 a.m. Dec. 16, side mirror forcibly broken off one vehicle parked on 1100 block of Johnson Drive and used to break window of sliding door of vehicle parked next to it; assortment of automotive parts and tools stolen from second vehicle.
21Identity theft: Benjamin J. Nygel, 21, Aurora; 12:10 p.m. near Dickens and Ogden avenues; charged with identity theft, using the credit card of another and possession of drug paraphernalia; and Katherin R. Mejia, 18, Aurora; 12:10 p.m. at Iroquois Club, 1101 Iroquois Ave.; charged with theft and criminal trespass to vehicle.
