These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Monday, Dec. 17
1Marijuana possession: Alexander R. Hernandez, 19, Montgomery; 3:34 p.m. near North Aurora Road and Fairway Drive; charged with possession of marijuana, driving without insurance and failure to wear a seat belt; passenger Joel L. Castillo, 20, Aurora, arrested on outstanding warrant.
2Drug possession: Nicklas W. White, 47, 100 block of East Bailey Road; 11:33 p.m. at home; charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Tuesday, Dec. 18
3Marijuana possession: About 12:13 a.m., unidentified motorist curbed near 95th Street and Route 59 for traffic violation; charged with possession of 30 grams or less marijuana.
4Property damage: Between 12:45 and 12:59 a.m., mailbox damaged outside home on 1000 block of Johnson Drive.
5Suspended license: Timothy J. Sennott, 20, 600 block of Rock Spring Court; 1:30 a.m. near Rock Spring Court and Gleneagles Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without front or rear license plate or permit.
6Resisting police: Michael Rodriguez, 25, 300 block of West Ogden Avenue; 2:40 a.m. at home; charged with resisting a peace officer and obstructing identification.
7Traffic crash: About 10:05 a.m., unidentified motorist who was distracted by her dog’s attempt to jump onto front seat struck rear of another vehicle while driving west on 75th Street approaching Ranchview Drive; drivers unhurt, but “dog died from injuries received in the crash.”
