These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Wednesday, Dec. 26
1Property damage: Between 11 p.m. Dec. 25 and 12:48 a.m., office window broken inside clubhouse of Country Lakes Golf Club, on 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive; interior door also might have been broken.
2Theft: A 48-year-old man reported his wireless telephone stolen between 8 a.m. Dec. 21 and 11:43 a.m. today, most likely while he was working at business on 1200 block of East Ogden Avenue.
3Theft: A 35-year-old woman reported between 6 a.m. Dec. 19 and 12:15 p.m. today, purse stolen from inside Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin’ Donuts, 606 S. Route 59.
4Shoplifting: Kenneth T. Marshall, 50, Aurora; 1:05 p.m. at Menards, 715 Fort Hill Drive; charged with retail theft for taking several tools from store without paying for them.
5Vandalism: A 35-year-old man reported sometime before 11:55 p.m., graffiti was spray-painted on garage door of home on 1300 block of Saxon Lane.
Thursday, Dec. 27
6Driving under the influence: Julie A. Puls, 42, 3500 block of Stackinghay Drive; 12:24 a.m. near Bluejay Lane and Tall Grass Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
7Theft: A 23-year-old woman reported between 5:15 p.m. Dec. 26 and 2 a.m., unspecified piece of property she lost or misplaced was stolen on 700 block of Royal St. George Drive.
8Theft: Nico R. DeConing, 19, 3500 block of Eliot Lane; 4:07 a.m. at business on 4000 block of Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with theft, criminal trespass to land and unlawful consumption of alcohol by minor.
9Theft: Sometime before 8:08 a.m., five cleaning supply dispensing boxes pried open inside business on 1600 block of Wall Street.
10Retail theft: Ryan D. Conroy, 19, Oswego; 1:14 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with retail theft.
