Reward offered in damage spree

Naperville police have turned to the public for help in solving a recent crime spree on the city’s south side.

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information about those responsible for the spree on the 400 block of Pickerel Court.

The incidents occurred sometime during the late-evening hours of Dec. 31 or the early-morning hours of Jan. 1. A vandal or vandals “used an unknown object to scratch several profane images into the exterior of a vehicle” parked on the block.

“Several mailboxes were also damaged in the area and possibly kicked over,” according to the release. Qlwo, an American flag was stolen from outside one home.
