These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Tuesday, Jan. 15
1Burglary: A 44-year-old man reported between 8 a.m. Jan. 1 and 8 a.m. today, padlocked storage locker burglarized in basement of building on 200 block of East Bailey Road.
Wednesday, Jan. 16
2Suspended license: Juventino Carranza, 45, Aurora; 12:16 a.m. near 75th Street and Rickert Drive; charged for second time in two days with driving with a suspended license.
3Retail theft: Gary T. Tyree, 24, Oswego; 12:18 a.m. at unidentified business on 2700 block of Forgue Drive; charged with four counts retail theft.
4Driving under the influence: James M. Prombo, 35, 800 block of Manassas Court; 1:12 a.m. near Jefferson Avenue and Eagle Street; charged with DUI, driving without insurance and a headlights violation.
5Underage drinking: About 7:30 a.m., two unidentified youths ticketed for underage consumption of alcohol on 23000 block of 95th Street.
6Burglary: John R. Staggs, 18, 1000 block of Alder Lane; 11:15 a.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with burglary.
7Identity theft: Jerome F. Bass, 37, Chicago; 12:17 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with identity theft.
8Marijuana possession: John A. Reasor, 21, Westmont; 2:37 p.m. in North Central College dormitory room, 440 S. Brainard St.; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
9Theft of services: Nicholas A. Abbott, 24, Addison; 2:58 p.m. on 0-99 block of South Naper Boulevard; charged with theft of labor or services for failing to pay $80 fare to driver for Sureway Cabs.
10Unlicensed driver: Miguel Hernandez, 25, Aurora; 5:05 p.m. near North Aurora Road and Route 59; charged with driving without a license.
11Shoplifting: About 5:48 p.m., approximately $1,554 worth of fragrances reported stolen from ULTA Beauty, 2707 W. Aurora Ave.
12Disorderly conduct: About 6:11 p.m., police investigated report of white man with gun in vicinity of Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St.; no gunman found.
13Suspended license: Jeffrey A. Bogdan, 45, 1100 block of Preserve Avenue; 7:44 p.m. near 75th Street and Olympus Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license and following another vehicle too closely.
Thursday, Jan. 17
14DUI: Michael E. Whisson, 36, Aurora; 12:05 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Fort Hill Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance, driving with an expired registration and speeding.
15DUI: William J. Konovsky, 53, 24000 block of Ascot Court; 12:22 a.m. near 95th Street and Route 59; charged with DUI, disobeying a traffic signal, failure to signal, improper lane use, failure to wear a seat belt and speeding.
16DUI: Ellen M. Kronenburger, 28, 6S500 block of South Naper Boulevard; 2:10 a.m. near Abbeywood Drive and Naper Boulevard; charged with two counts DUI and one count each failure to yield to emergency vehicle, failure to notify secretary of state’s office of address change and speeding.
17Property damage: Between 6 p.m. Jan. 16 and 8:37 a.m., roadway lights and entrance sign damaged on 3400 block of Club Drive, on grounds of White Eagle Golf Club.
18Marijuana possession: Derrick D. Page, age and home town not provided; 4:47 p.m. near 111th Street and Route 59; charged with possession of marijuana.
19Theft: Erin E. Pufunt, 27, Aurora; 8:49 p.m. on 200 block of Elmwood Drive; charged with theft.
20DUI: Leanne Hoffmeier, 38, Joliet; 9:17 p.m. near 75th Street and Modaff Road; charged with DUI, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, following another vehicle too closely, failure to signal and speeding.
21DUI: Dana S. Day, 40, 1600 block of Estate Circle; 10:34 p.m. near Orleans Avenue and Coach Drive; charged with DUI, disobeying a stop sign, squealing or screeching tires of vehicle, failure to notify secretary of state’s office of address change, failure to wear a seat belt and speeding.
22DUI: Richard L. Woodford, 55, 2100 block of Jessica Court; 11:06 p.m. near Gartner Road and West Street; charged with DUI, failure to signal, improper lane use and speeding.
23Theft of services: Nathan R. Kilian, 23, 2100 block of Saber Court; 11:49 p.m. at Rizzo’s, 6 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with theft of labor or services.
