These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Thursday, Jan. 17
1Theft: A 29-year-old woman reported between 1 p.m. Jan. 15 and 5 p.m. today, package stolen after being delivered and left outside home on 1200 block of South Whispering Hills Drive.
Friday, Jan. 18
2Driving under the influence: David A Schild, 59, 1600 block of Lonsdale Avenue; 1:30 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Fort Hill Drive; charged with DUI, failure to notify secretary of state’s office of address change and speeding.
3Property damage: Between 6:45 p.m. Jan. 17 and 7 a.m., light broken outside building on 600 block of North Washington Street.
4Hit and run: Syed M. Haque, 42, 3700 block of Mistflower Lane; 8:32 a.m. near 95th Street and Wildcat Way; charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to notify other motorist of accident, after fleeing the scene when his eastbound vehicle rear-ended another vehicle.
5Trespassing: About 12:33 p.m., uninvited man or woman “unexpectedly found in apartment” on 1800 block of South Washington Street; subject given “no trespass” notice by police.
6Hit and run: About 6:49 p.m., vehicle abandoned and left in roadway after striking house on 3400 block of White Eagle Drive.
7Child endangerment: About 6:53 p.m., unidentified woman charged with endangering health or life of child, after leaving 2-year-old daughter alone in car for five minutes while she shopped at Cardinal Liquors, 2760 Aurora Ave.
8Shoplifting: Marquis T. Nathan, 18, Bolingbrook; 6:57 p.m. at Dominick’s Finer Foods, 3116 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft.
9Car hitting garage: A 59-year-old man reported about 7 p.m., car drove through closed garage door of home on 500 block of Mayfair Lane; car then hit interior garage wall, causing “significant damage.”
10Underage drinking: About 11:19 p.m., unidentified 18-year-old ticketed for underage consumption of alcohol by minor near 95th Street and Book Road; subject then taken to Edward Hospital for treatment.
Saturday, Jan. 19
11Drug possession: William Rooney, age and home town not provided; 1:26 a.m. on 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue; charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
12DUI: Amee R. Gottardo, 41, 2600 block of Idaho Road; 1:39 a.m. near Lacrosse Lane and Route 59; charged with DUI, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance, wrong lane use and making improper lane change.
13DUI: Alejandro Godinez, 37, Darien; 2:06 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Washington Street; charged with two counts DUI.
14DUI: Keith M. Kierzek, 23, Oak Lawn; 2:43 a.m. near Sixth Avenue and Mil Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
15Disorderly conduct: Pawel J. Fracek, 37, 1600 block of Westminster Drive; 6:31 a.m. at home, following anonymous complaint of loud noise coming from his apartment; charged with disorderly conduct/breach of peace and domestic battery.
16Suspended license: Farren R. James, 32, 30W100 block of Bruce Lane; 10:35 a.m. near Gowdey Road and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license and two counts driving without insurance.
17Shoplifting: Anna R. Smith, 31, Hodgkins; 2:21 p.m. at Jewel-Osco, 2855 W. 95th St.; charged with retail theft for taking $122 worth of baby formula from store without paying for it.
18Vehicle damage: A 37-year-old man reported between 4:30 p.m. Jan. 18 and 4:30 p.m. today, scratch etched into finish of vehicle parked on 700 block of Royal St. George Drive.
19Interfering with police: Kyle S. Douglas, 22, 100 block of Testa Drive; 10:57 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Route 59; charged with interfering with peace officer, failure to yield on private driveway or roadway, driving without rear registration or license plate light and failure to wear a seat belt.
20Prostitution: Ashlynd N. Clouse, 22, Marshall; 11:24 p.m. at Red Roof Inn, 1698 W. Diehl Road; charged with prostitution.
21Misrepresentation of age: About 11:48 p.m., unidentified man or woman stopped after trying to use phony identification to enter Bar Louie, 22 E. Chicago Ave.
Sunday, Jan. 20
22Battery: About 1:01 a.m., fighting reported near Chicago Avenue and Washington Street; report provided no further information.
23Property damage: A 41-year-old man reported between 11 p.m. Jan. 19 and 7:30 a.m., mailbox damaged outside home on 900 block of Belaire Court.
24Burglary: Between 4:10 p.m. Jan. 19 and 8:56 a.m., door found open at business on 200 block of South Washington Street; building did not appear to have been entered,
25Suspended license: Catherine E. Rodriguez, 19, Aurora; 8:43 p.m. near School Avenue and Ellsworth Street; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with expired registration and two counts driving without insurance.
26Vehicle burglary: A 26-year-old woman reported between 3 p.m. Jan. 19 and 9:06 p.m. today, HP laptop computer valued at $2,500 stolen from possibly unlocked truck parked outside home on 2500 block of Durango Lane; woman said computer also might have been stolen elsewhere in Naperville or in Aurora or Chicago.
27Suspended license: Humberto Marquez-Rascon, 27, Aurora; 10:12 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Birchwood Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license.
28DUI: Jose A. Torres, 42, Aurora; 11:34 p.m. near Hobson Road and Olesen Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count each improper lane use and speeding.
