These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Thursday, Jan. 31

1Trespassing: Brenden M. Glaze, 19, 0-99 block of North Brainard Street; and Tyler M. Boyd, 19, North Aurora; 5:52 a.m. near North Avenue and Sleight Street; charged with criminal trespass to vehicle.

2Theft: A 31-year-old woman reported sometime before 8:26 a.m., license plate stolen from vehicle parked outside home on 1200 block of Arapaho Court.

3Driving under the influence: Stephen M. Kelly, 60, 1300 block of Modaff Road; 10:30 a.m. near Rickert Drive and River Road; charged with two counts DUI and one count each failure to signal and improper lane use.

4Shoplifting: Alaric A. Dixon, 24, Oswego; and Manuel Valdez, 21, Montgomery; 12:51 p.m. at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft.

5Theft: A 46-year-old woman reported between 7 a.m. and 2:35 p.m., small bag and cell phone stolen from home on 1600 block of Warbler Drive.

6Drug possession: Jeremiah T. Komon, 33, 4200 block of Colton Circle; 7:15 p.m. near Sanctuary Lane and Rickert Drive; charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property and retail theft.

7Disorderly conduct: Albano Bylyku, 37, 1300 block of Crab Apple Court; 8:30 p.m. at business on 1500 block of North Route 59; charged with disorderly conduct, “after being verbally abusive and making threats to staff and patrons of the establishment.”

8Unlicensed driver: Domingo Cagal-Ixtepan, 21, 0-99 block of Testa Drive; 9:45 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and River Road; charged with driving without a license and failure to signal.

9Vehicle burglary: A 22-year-old man reported between 9:30 and 10:40 p.m., passenger-side door window seal pried on vehicle parked on 2700 block of Freedom Drive; nothing stolen; “no valuables in car to take.”

Friday, Feb. 1

10DUI: Juan Navarro, 22, Aurora; 1:26 a.m. near Sanctuary Lane and Schumacher Drive; charged with DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions. making improper turn at intersection and driving without insurance.

11Theft: A 60-year-old man reported sometime before 8:50 a.m., Eddie Bauer vest stolen from locker room of Edward Health & Fitness Center, 775 Brom Drive; vest later found hanging on railing.

12Vehicle burglary: An 18-year-old woman reported between 8:13 p.m. Jan. 31 and 9:30 a.m., front passenger-side window broken on 1998 Cadillac Deville parked outside business on 300 block of South Route 59; rear-view power mirror stolen.

13Vehicle burglary: Between Jan. 31 and 10:08 a.m., Garmin GPS unit stolen from vehicle parked outside Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.

14Shoplifting: Ricardo D. Lisboa, 18, 1500 block of White Eagle Drive; 8:47 p.m. at Dominick’s Finer Foods, 3116 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft.

15DUI: Christopher P. Kotrba, 49, 400 block of West Gartner Road; 11:57 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and West Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count driving without headlights.

Saturday, Feb. 2

16Neighbor dispute/vehicle damage: About 7:30 a.m., police called after unidentified man threatened neighbor on 2100 block of Allegre Court; man said he suspected neighbor of slashing two tires on his vehicle during overnight hours; damage to tires might have been done by knife with three-quarter-inch blade.

17Property damage: Between 10 p.m. Feb. 1 and 11 a.m., rear entrance doorknob smashed at business on 1300 block of South Naper Boulevard.

18Failure to yield: Scott E. Whitsitt, 58, home town not provided; 2:40 p.m. near School Avenue and Ellsworth Street; charged with failure to yield at stop sign.

19No insurance: About 6:15 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance following traffic crash near 83rd Street and Book Road.

20No insurance: About 7:44 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with driving without insurance and improper lane use, following traffic crash near Ogden Avenue and Washington Street.

21Failure to reduce speed: About 7:51 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, following traffic crash on northbound Freedom Drive near Interstate 88.

22DUI: Patrick F. Mallett, age and home town not provided; 11:42 p.m. near West Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with DUI and improper lane use.

23Trespassing: Scott A. Covey, 23, Channahon; 11:56 p.m. on 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue; charged with criminal trespass to land, for going inside downtown bar “after (being) denied entry just minutes before.”

24Cocaine possession: Carlos Perez-Garcia, 21, Woodridge; 11:57 p.m. on 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue; charged with possession of a controlled substance/cocaine; also wanted on a warrant.

Sunday, Feb. 3

25DUI: Carl E. Vonderhorst, 35, Bolingbrook; 1:17 a.m. near 111th Street and Route 59; charged with DUI and improper lane use.

26DUI: Meagan E. Bannon, 24, 800 block of Pomeroon Street; 2:12 a.m. near Oswego Road and Oakhurst Drive; charged with DUI and disobeying a stop sign; Bannon admitted having been drinking, admitted she should not have been drinking and refused to perform field sobriety tests.

27Unlicensed driver: Joel R. Perez, 31, Bolingbrook; 1:09 p.m. near North Aurora Road and Industrial Drive; charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance, obstructing identification and speeding; also wanted on two warrants.
