These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Friday, Feb. 1
1Property damage: A 49-year-old woman reported between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., mailbox damaged — possibly by hit and run vehicle — outside home on 4900 block of Manydown Court.
Sunday, Feb. 3
2Disorderly conduct: An 83-year-old woman reported about 9:45 p.m., “a purportedly used condom” was placed on handle of door to her apartment on 200 block of East Bailey Road.
Tuesday, Feb. 5
3Theft: A 29-year-old woman reported between 8:30 p.m. Feb. 4 and 12:30 p.m., front license plate stolen from vehicle parked in lot outside home on 700 block of Inland Circle.
4Theft: A 36-year-old woman reported between 10:15 a.m. and 12:35 p.m., coat stolen while she was a customer at Mario Tricoci Hair Salon, 1504 N. Naper Blvd.
5Vehicle damage: A 24-year-old man reported between 8 a.m. Feb. 2 and 4:47 p.m. today, sharp object used to etch scratches into finish of car parked outside home on 800 block of Benedetti Drive.
6Driving under the influence: Melissa N. Fleig, 28, Morris; 5:17 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Raymond Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions.
7Police investigation: About 6:54 p.m., 18-year-old employee called police to business on 2700 block of 111th Street, reporting receipt of possibly counterfeit $50 bill; police determined bill to be genuine.
8Theft: Eulalio Sinaca, 34, 1400 block of North Eagle Street; and Juan O. Vargas, 32, 700 block of Royal St. George Drive; 10:13 p.m. at White Tavern, 423 E. Ogden Ave.; charged with theft.
Wednesday, Feb. 6
9Vandalism: Between Jan. 31 and 9:45 a.m., graffiti painted on western wall of Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Mill Street underpass.
10Disorderly conduct: About 11:12 a.m., police investigated report of woman threatening ex-boyfriend on 1600 block of Kiowa Drive; woman denied making threats; no arrests made.
11Suspended license: Nathaniel Seward, 25, Chicago; 1:28 p.m. near Naperville North High School, 899 N. Mill St.; charged with driving with a suspended license, improper overtaking of another vehicle on the left and speeding; also wanted on a warrant.
12Marijuana possession: About 7:02 p.m., unidentified person ticketed for possession of marijuana near Leverenz Road and Forgue Drive.
13Marijuana possession: Matthew G. Brown, 19, 3500 block of Vanilla Grass Drive; and Morgan A. Demski, 18, 1300 block of Morningstar Court; 9:48 p.m. near 95th Street and Route 59; charged with possession of marijuana; Demski also charged with failure to signal.
