These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Thursday, Feb. 21
1Suspicious incident: A 30-year-old motorist reported between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m., unknown man pulled his vehicle up to stop at Brookline Court and Springhill Circle and rolled down his window; when motorist asked other driver what he wanted, other man drove away.
Sunday, Feb. 24
2Suspicious incident: Resident of 2700 block of Willow Ridge Drive reported between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., footprints left in snow on home’s deck.
3Forgery: Johnny Collins, 70, 1000 block of Wentworth Drive; 5:30 p.m. near 111th Street and Route 59; charged with two counts unlawful altering or forging of registration sticker, two title- and registration-possession offenses and one count driving without a valid registration.
4Property damage: Jamauris L. Johnson, 22, Aurora; 8:33 p.m. at Extended Stay America, 1575 Bond St.; charged with knowingly damaging property.
Monday, Feb. 25
5Driving under the influence: Marc R. Steger, 25, 1000 block of Fairway Drive; 12:17 a.m. near McDowell Road and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and one count each unsafe backing on roadway and driving without insurance.
6Disorderly conduct: About 2:41 a.m., unidentified driver of Ford Bronco observed striking several trash containers and recycling bins left at curb near Franklin Avenue and Julian Street.
7Vehicle burglaries: Between noon Feb. 23 and noon today, windows broken on three vehicles in lots of three car dealerships on or near 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue; Kenwood GPS unit stolen from 2005 Ford F-350; no further information provided on other two break-ins.
8Theft: Heather C. Mueting, 21, 700 block of Wildflower Circle; 5:40 p.m. at home; charged with theft.
9DUI: Cameron L. Charleston, 18, 600 block of Gateshead Drive; 6:03 p.m. near Sunburst Lane and Tall Grass Drive; charged with DUI/drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without insurance.
10Trespassing: Daniel F. Alvarado, 18; Christian C. Martin-Angulo, 18; and Carrington A. Merriweather, 19, all of Aurora; 6:21 p.m. on 500 block of Chamberlain Lane; charged with criminal trespass to land/refusing to leave.
11Marijuana possession: Andrew C. Erber, 20, 1200 block of Gregory Court; and Daksh N. Relwani, 19, Bolingbrook; 10:21 p.m. near Applegate and Westglen drives; both charged with possession of marijuana; Erber also charged with littering on roadway from vehicle; Relwani also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
