These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Friday, March 8
1Unlicensed driver: Jose A. Roldan, 22, Vernon Hills; 1:15 a.m. near Lincoln and Naperville roads; charged with driving without a license and driving without headlights.
2Suspended license: Trinidad Duran-Galan, 23, Aurora; 1:26 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Columbia Street; charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding.
3Stolen vehicle: About 4:50 a.m., 19-year-old man reported suspicious vehicle parked on 4000 block of Helene Avenue; gray, 2000 Isuzu Rodeo with exterior damage was found to have been stolen from Cicero; Cicero police asked that it be towed to Naperville police impoundment lot for recovery and processing.
4Battery: Roberto S. Montoya-Rodriguez, 39, Aurora; 11:20 a.m. at unidentified business at 2835 Showplace Drive; charged with battery, after shoving 71-year-old man to floor during argument.
5Driving under the influence: Christine M. Paasch, 35, 1300 block of Auburn Avenue; 1:29 p.m. near Bailey Road and Signal Drive; charged with DUI/alcohol, DUI/drugs, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and driving without insurance, after running her vehicle off roadway.
6Warrant arrest: About 3:39 p.m., police assisted woman with lockout on 1100 block of West Aurora Avenue; Adrianne M. Nowbrull, 29, of 11S000 block of West Street, found to be wanted on $3,000 Kendall County arrest warrant.
7Well-being check: About 3:51 p.m., well-being check made at home on 3800 block of Littlestone Court; police determined 12-year-old boy had telephoned father “after he did not agree with mother’s disciplinary actions.”
8DUI: About 4:45 p.m., unnamed motorist arrested on 1400 block of Pinetree Drive and charged with DUI and illegal transportation or possession alcohol; charges and bond approved after driver underwent treatment at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
9Vehicle damage: Between 8 a.m. March 6 and 6:49 p.m. today, front passenger-side window was shattered on vehicle parked on 500 block of North Route 59.
10Shoplifting: About 8:17 p.m., unnamed male or female ticketed for retail theft, after stealing $59.73 worth of merchandise from unidentified business on 700 block of South Route 59.
11Battery: About 10:27 p.m., 43-year-old owner of home on 800 block of West Douglas Avenue told police he “found unwanted boyfriend in daughter’s bedroom and escorted him out of his house.”
12Battery: An 18-year-old man reported while walking about 10:30 p.m. near 87th Street and Ring Road, three unidentified white men “for no reason” accosted and battered him; man sustained bruises around his eyes.
13Property damage: About 11:06 p.m., two mailboxes damaged outside two homes on 300 block of Redstart Road.
14Trespassing: About 11:20 p.m., unnamed man found asleep inside Metra Railway commuter train station, 105 E. Fourth Ave., after it had been closed and locked for the night; man was warned he would be arrested in future for trespassing.
15DUI: About 11:39 p.m., juvenile with blood-alcohol content of 1.79 crashed vehicle into tree near Gartner Road and Washington Street; youth admitted drinking earlier at friend’s house; charged as juvenile with DUI.
16DUI: Karen M. Hrack, 53, Batavia; 11:39 p.m. near 75th Street and Olympus Drive; charged with DUI and improper lane use, after refusing to take breathalyzer test.
Saturday, March 9
17Information for police: About 12:58 a.m., 28-year-old woman undergoing treatment at Edward Hospital, 801 S. Washington St., told police she had been raped sometime between 12:58 a.m. Feb. 23 and today in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood.
18DUI: Carl J. Brummel III, 33, Aurora; 1:36 a.m. near White Eagle Drive and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and one count each improper lane use and speeding.
19DUI: Brandon F. Freidsam, 21, Chicago; 2:14 a.m. near New York Street and Route 59, Aurora; charged with two counts DUI and one count each following another vehicle too closely and driving without insurance.
20DUI: Victor M. Martinez, 23, Aurora; 3:43 a.m. near Diehl Road and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and one count each improper lane use and failure to signal.
21Shoplifting: Jeremiah N. Benjamin, 21, Aurora; 10:30 a.m. at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft for taking three Sims video games and two twin-packs Bic disposable lighters from store without paying for them.
22Shoplifting: Joseph E. Przyczkowski, 30, Milwaukee; 1:44 p.m. at Apple Retail Store, 120 W. Jefferson Ave.; charged with retail theft.
23Trespassing: About 2:05 p.m., four juveniles found on roof of Prairie Elementary School, 500 S. Charles Ave.; all four released into custody of parents; school officials notified of incident.
24Information for police: About 4:34 p.m., police took report of possible boarding house operating on 200 block of East Fourth Avenue.
25Burglary: A 42-year-old woman reported between 8:15 and 8:34 p.m., two male white teenagers entered open garage of home on 1300 block of Heatherton Drive and stole two cans of beer from refrigerator.
26DUI: Jennifer M. Surrett, 39, 1100 block of Amaranth Drive; 11:21 p.m. near Montgomery Road and Route 59; charged with DUI, driving on unsafe tires, failure to signal and improper lane use.
27Bar safety check: About 11:24 p.m., on-duty manager of bar on 1500 block of North Route 59 was advised police had received complaint of overcrowded conditions there.
Sunday, March 10
28DUI: Ean Y. Arai, 23, Lisle; 12:05 a.m. following traffic crash near Chicago Avenue and Huffman Street; charged with two counts DUI and one count each driving without insurance and disobeying a stop sign.
