Event for candidates set in Naperville

A Naperville Chinese women’s club will host a “meet the candidates” event for those running in the April 9 election from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Truth Lutheran Church, 110 S. Washington St. in Naperville.

The April 9 election features races for City Council, District 203 and District 204 school boards, Naperville Park Board, township offices and more.

U.S. Rep. Bill Foster (D-Naperville) and state Rep. Darlene Senger (R-Naperville) have also been invited.

Admission is free to the public meeting. A question and answer session will follow the formal forum.
