These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.
Friday, March 8
1Theft: Between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., wallet taken from woman’s purse inside unidentified business on 1200 block of Hobson Road; other employees later found wallet discarded; unspecified amount of money stolen.
Saturday, March 9
2Theft: A 23-year-old man reported around 1 a.m., blue and gray NorthFace men’s waist jacket with at least six keys in pockets stolen from unidentified business on 0-99 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
Sunday, March 10
3Intoxicated resident: About 1:49 a.m., unidentified female taken from Fairway Drive and Spyglass Court to Edward Hospital in Naperville for treatment of intoxication.
4Driving under the influence: Fallon M. Grant, 23, Bolingbrook; 1:56 a.m. near 75th Street and Route 59; charged with two counts DUI and one count each following another vehicle too closely, failure to signal, improper lane use and driving without headlights.
5Dispute: About 2:38 p.m., police took report of unspecified, “ongoing dispute” at unidentified business on 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue.
6Vehicle burglary: A 29-year-old employee of U.S. Department of Transportation’s Aurora office reported between 4 p.m. March 9 and 8 a.m., unlocked, blue Honda Civic entered while parked in driveway of home on 2900 block of Dearborn Court; brown leather wallet containing workplace identification, other identification, credit and debit cards and $5 stolen from driver-side door area.
7DUI: Mallory E. Gulling, 27, Lisle; 7:40 p.m. on 900 block of Bainbridge Drive; charged with two counts DUI and one count driving in wrong lane of traffic.
Monday, March 11
8DUI: Heungseo A. Park, 44, 800 block of Corday Drive; 12:42 a.m. near 75th Street and Gartner Road; charged with two counts DUI and one count each failure to signal, improper lane use and speeding.
9Property damage: A 35-year-old woman reported between 2 p.m. March 10 and 8 a.m., mailbox damaged outside home on 2200 block of Remington Drive; damage estimated at $25.
10Solicitor complaint: About 12:33 p.m., unidentified man or woman ticketed for “soliciting funds from passing motorists while in roadway” at North Aurora Road and Route 59.
11Vehicle damage: A 50-year-old man reported between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., numerous scratches etched into exterior of windshield of vehicle parked near Chicago Avenue and Ellsworth Street.
12Suspicious incident: A 35-year-old woman at 4:38 p.m. called police to 2800 block of Vernal Lane, after returning home to find sliding glass patio door ajar; police checked residence, found no sign of intruder or crime.
13Suspended license: Alexander C. Goff, 21, 2500 block of Springdale Circle; 4:45 p.m. near Rockport Street and Stonewater Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license.
Tuesday, March 12
14Telephone harassment: Ryan G. Mascenik, 33, Fairview Heights; 12:53 a.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with three counts harassment by telephone and one count violating order of protection.
15Property damage: About 1:33 a.m., chair used to damage picture window of unidentified building on 1100 block of West Ogden Avenue.
16DUI: John M. Kuntaras, 21, Riverside; 4:47 a.m. near Shell service station, 659 S. Washington St.; charged with two counts DUI and one count improper lane use.
17Unwanted subject: About 1:55 p.m., police investigated report of “unwanted subject” on 1100 block of East Ogden Avenue.
18Unlicensed driver: Antonio M. Lopez, 56, Bolingbrook; 2:47 p.m. near Aurora Avenue and Berry Court; charged with driving without a license and speeding.
19Information for police: About 3:42 p.m., residents of 1600 block of Colfax Court called police concerning “secret shopper” e-mail; after receiving check and instructions in the mail, residents “realized this was a scam” and contacted police.
20Suspended license: Jon B. Grizzle, 53, Montgomery; 5:06 p.m. near 95th Street and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license.
