Friday, March 8
1Theft: A 38-year-old woman reported between 9 and 10:30 p.m., wallet containing debit card and U.S. Social Security number stolen inside Brunswick Zone, 1515 W. Aurora Ave.
Tuesday, March 12
2Drug overdose: About 7 p.m., resident of 1900 block of Town Drive “suffered a possible heroin overdose”; man treated at scene by paramedics and then taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville.
3Order of protection violation: Stanley D. Seidler, 50, Orland Park; 9:14 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 Aurora Ave.; charged with violation of order of protection.
4Trespassing: About 10:04 p.m., unidentified subject located after-hours in Naperville Community Concert Center/Central Park Band Shell, 55 Concert Lane; key holders notified; police told to remove subject from premises without charges.
Wednesday, March 13
5Vehicle damage: A 23-year-old woman reported sometime before 2:55 p.m., driver-side mirror damaged on vehicle parked on 300 block of North Avenue.
6Suspicious incident: About 5:35 p.m., empty carbon dioxide cartridges used in food industry or food preparation found on pavement near Bluewater Circle and Sedgwick Court; carbon dioxide sometimes figures in substance abuse or “huffing.”
7Suspended license: Lincoln J. Granderson, 32, home town not available; 10:07 p.m. while driving gold Pontiac vehicle near 75th Street and Naper Boulevard; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance.
8Vehicle trespass: Michele L. Demaria, 22, home town not available; 10:25 p.m. on 600 block of Harlowe Court; charged with criminal trespass to vehicles.
9Suspended license: Ayrionna T. Broddus, 21, home town not available; 11:33 p.m. while driving silver Nissan Sentra near 75th and Washington streets; charged with driving with a suspended license and driving with expired license plates.
Thursday, March 14
10Drug paraphernalia possession: Juilian L. Jones, 23, Crystal Lake; 1:25 a.m. near Cantore Road and Route 59; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and improper use of registration or title.
11Suspended license: Charles M. Barnes, 39, 1300 block of McDowell Road; 4:13 a.m. near Zano Salon & Day Spa, 1767 W. Ogden Ave.; charged with driving with a suspended license.
12Property damage: A 65-year-old man reported between 9:30 p.m. March 13 and 9:15 a.m., blunt object used to damage wooden mailbox atop wooden mounting post outside home on 800 block of Manchester Street.
13Shoplifting: About 9:51 a.m., unidentified youth stole two bottles of vodka from business on 2800 block of 95th Street and then went home; suspect identified through store video surveillance tape and by Naperville school resource officer; officer confronted suspect, who admitted taking liquor; no arrest made or ticket issued due to suspect’s admission of theft, cooperation and return of alcohol to business.
14Theft: A 20-year-old woman reported between 9:30 p.m. March 12 and 12:59 p.m. today. wallet containing $1,600 taken after being left unattended inside business on 2800 block of Showplace Drive.
15Identity theft: Garth T. Breen, 51, LaGrange Park; 3:50 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with identity theft.
16Theft: About 5:05 p.m., service employee of business on 900 block of 75th Street stole electronic cigarette valued at $150 from passenger-side seat of man’s vehicle; property recovered and suspect apologized to owner; no arrest made or ticket isued.
17Police interference: Brandon R. Rice, 18, 800 block of North Columbia Street; 10:10 p.m. on 200 block of East Fifth Avenue; charged with interfering with police.
18Suspended license: Noor M. Sheikh, 19, Suwanee, Ga.; 10:46 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license; also charged with shoplifting at 8:43 p.m. from business on 700 block of South Route 59.
