These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the report includes when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Sunday, March 17

1Driving under the influence: Lea M. Strunewitz, 21, Lisle; 2:33 a.m. near Bayhill Avenue and Naper Boulevard; charged with two counts DUI and one count speeding.

2Marijuana possession: Marshanae C. Clemon, 28, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 3:08 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Royal St. George Drive; charged with possession of marijuana and driving without insurance.

3Disorderly conduct: Andrew C. Doerr, 22, 900 block of Hidden Lake Road; 5:18 a.m. near Spindletree Avenue and Fall Brook Drive; charged with disorderly conduct, after 58-year-old neighborhood woman told police she heard yelling and screaming in front yard and then went outside to investigate damage to mailbox; woman “observed a subject in the street several houses down screaming and swinging a golf club-like object”; woman, afraid for her safety, went back indoors and called police.

4Theft: A 47-year-old woman reported between 7 p.m. March 16 and 9 a.m., spare tire stolen on 1300 block of Cortland Drive.

5Marijuana possession: James M. Rossi, 28, 24000 block of Woodhall Court; 12:45 p.m. near Bailey Road and Eddystone Circle; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, after “concerned citizen” called police to report suspicious person inside parked vehicle.

6Shoplifting: About 1 p.m., unidentified male or female took bottle of perfume valued at $55 inside Ulta Beauty, 103 S. Washington St., and then left store without paying for it.

7Vehicle burglary: A 35-year-old man reported between 11:10 a.m. and 1:05 p.m., front passenger-side window was shattered on locked vehicle parked on 1700 block of Quincy Avenue; gray, Calvin Klein purse containing credit cards and identification stolen.

8Suspended license: Keith B. Kegerreis, 53, Lombard; 9:49 p.m. near 75th Street and Wehrli Road; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving with an expired registration and failure to signal.

9Fleeing crash scene: Brandon C. Erdmann, 37, Aurora; 9:50 p.m. at the Naperville police station, 1350 W. Aurora Ave.; charged with leaving scene of accident involving vehicle damage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and driving with a suspended license.

10DUI: Amanda R. Maag, 29, Barrington; 10:47 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Tuthill Road; charged with DUI, following another vehicle too closely, failure to signal and speeding.

11Suspended license: Robert C. Jewell, 29, 900 block of North Brainard Street; 11:39 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Naperville-Wheaton Road; charegd with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and speeding; also wanted on a warrant.

12Suspended license: Isaiah C. Harris, 23, Aurora; 11:56 p.m. near Rickert Drive and West Street; charged with driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and speeding 57 mph in 50 mph zone.

Monday, March 18

13DUI: Samuel Lopez, 22, 900 block of North Loomis Street; 12:21 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Washington Street; charged with DUI, driving with a suspended license, illegal possession or transportation liquor, driving without insurance and improper lane use.

14No insurance: Lukas M. Ostojic, 22, Glendale Heights; 1:36 a.m. at Audrey Avenue and Route 59, near Home Depot; charged with two counts driving without insurance and one count driving with a suspended license.

15Suspicious incident: About 2:51 a.m., main door to building on 2100 block of CityGate Lane discovered locked but out of alignment.

16Deceptive practice: Between 5:03 p.m. March 4 and 11:32 a.m. today, unidentified black man in his mid-20s passed bogus check for $353.61 at business on 1500 block of West Ogden Avenue; suspect’s image recorded by surveillance camera.

17Vehicle burglary: A 64-year-old woman reported between 12:30 and 12:46 p.m., unidentified male or female discovered rifling woman’s car parked on 600 block of Raymond Drive; nothing stolen; report did not indicate whether arrest was made.

18Theft: An 18-year-old man reported between 1:40 and 2:25 p.m., iPhone stolen at Neuqua Valley High School, 2360 95th St.

19Theft: A 31-year-old woman reported between 2 and 3 p.m., articles of clothing stolen from clothes dryer in common area of building on 200 block of East Bailey Road.

20Marijuana possession: Juan J. Jaramillo, 20; and Roberto C. Jaramillo, 22, both of Des Plaines; 8:25 p.m. near Brookdale Road and Bond Street; both charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia; Juan Jaramillo also charged with disobeying a stop sign.

Tuesday, March 19

21Suspicious incident: A 12-year-old girl reported between 4:30 and 4:35 p.m., she was walking her dog on 3800 block of Junebreeze Lane when she saw black, newer model car driving slowly through neighborhood; car was driven by black man in his 40s traveling with two children secured in safety seats; girl told police she “felt the subject was staring at her”; police checked area; no car or driver located.

22Special patrol: About 4:38 p.m., unidentified resident of 2600 block of Midland Drive asked for special police patrol, after becoming involved in possible Internet scam.

23Unlicensed driver: Christian Velasquez, 21, 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive; 8:37 p.m. near Bruce Lane and Route 59; charged with driving without a license, driving without insurance and driving with an expired registration.
