These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the reports include when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Friday, Aug. 26

1Theft: Between 9:30 and 10 p.m. on the 600 block of South Route 59; a wallet was stolen.

Thursday, Sept. 1

2Theft: Between 5 and 8 p.m. on the 2500 block of Oneida Road; a bike was taken from the garage of a house.

Friday, Sept. 2

3Theft: At about 3 p.m. on the 600 block of North Route 59; someone pumped gasoline into a car and drove off without paying.

4Theft: Between 8:30 and 10 p.m. on the 100 block of Olesen Drive; a bicycle was stolen.

5Identity theft: Liporschia C. Thomas, 21, Chicago; 12:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of Aurora Avenue; charged with identity theft.

6Driving with a suspended license: Gerardo Mirafuentes, 38, Aurora; 3:26 p.m. at 75th Street and Rickert Drive; charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Saturday, Sept. 3

7Theft: During the morning at Ogden Avenue and Sleight Street; some pet medication was stolen.

8Theft: At about 10:40 p.m. at Eagle Street and Jackson Avenue; a bottle of pop was stolen from a vendor at the Last Fling.

9Suspicious incident: At about 10:30 p.m. on the 2500 block of Eldorado Lane; a white car pulled up to a group of young people, and the driver, a man, yelled “Get in the car,” the children hid until the car was gone.

10Driving under the influence: Jeffrey J. Stritch, 32, 28W700 block of Douglas Road; 1:59 a.m. on the 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue; charged with DUI and a traffic control violation.

Sunday, Sept. 4

11Damage to property: Between Sept. 2 and Sept. 4 on the 0-99 block of East Franklin Avenue; graffiti was painted on the door of a church and on a street sign.

12Theft: At about 8 p.m. at Eagle Street and Jackson Avenue; some money was stolen from a woman’s purse at the Last Fling festival.

13Burglary: Philippe A. Ayala, 25, Aurora; 4:54 a.m. on the 1000 block of East Benton Avenue; charged with burglary.

14Driving without a license: Adres E. Carrizosa-Gonzalez, 31, 700 block of Inland Circle; 9:37 p.m. at home; charged with driving without a license, illegal possession of alcohol by a driver and violating the Lights and Lamps Act.

15Burglary: Jonathan M. Klimek, 21, 400 block of Millcreek Court; 5:03 a.m. on the 1000 block of East Benton Avenue; charged with burglary; he was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

16DUI: Olivia R. Fijalkowski, 23, Hickory Hills; 1:56 a.m. at Ogden Avenue and Washington Street; charged with DUI, improper lane usage and following too closely.

17DUI: Charles L. Stewart, 32, Bolingbrook; 1:06 a.m. at Aurora Avenue and Fort Hill Drive; charged with DUI and speeding.

18Interfering with an officer: Waletta L. Powell, 47, Aurora; 3:45 p.m. at LaSalle Street and Route 59; charged with interfering with an officer; also wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Monday, Sept. 5

19Burglary to vehicle: Between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 4 and 6 a.m. Sept. 5 on the 2100 block of Citygate Lane; four guitars were stolen from a vehicle.

20Damage to property: Between 5 p.m. Sept. 4 and 9:30 a.m. Sept. 5 on the 200 block of Spring Avenue; someone threw eggs at a house.

21Theft: During the evening on the 2600 block of Rockport Lane; two valve covers were stolen from vehicles.

22Burglary to vehicle: During the evening on the 2500 block of Versailles Avenue; an iPad and some change were stolen from a vehicle.

23Assault: Michael Cooper, 44, Chicago; 7:22 p.m. on the 100 block of Fourth Avenue; charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

24Driving with a suspended license: Martha G. Colon, 30, Bolingbrook; 8:55 p.m. at Bailey Road and Plainfield-Naperville Road; charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding.
