These are incidents reported by the Naperville Police Department. Where charges have been filed, the reports include when and where the suspect was stopped or taken into custody and the nature of the charges.

Saturday, Dec. 31

1Burglary: Between noon Dec. 29 and 5 p.m. Dec. 31, bicycle stolen from open garage of home on 900 block of Amberwood Circle.

Tuesday, Jan. 3

2Vehicle trespass: Between 9 p.m. Jan. 2 and 1 a.m. Jan. 3, unlocked vehicle rummaged through while parked on 300 block of Prairie Knoll Drive; nothing stolen.

Thursday, Jan. 5

3Vandalism: Sometime between Jan. 4 and 6 a.m. Jan. 5, raw eggs hurled and shattered against vehicle parked in driveway of house on 1500 block of North Columbia Street.

Friday, Jan. 6

4Vandalism: Between 8:30 p.m. Jan. 5 and midnight Jan. 6, chalk used to print vulgarity, “Senior Gang” and drawings of pigs on driveway of home on 2200 block of Oberlin Court; art supplies also left on driveway.

5Marijuana possession: Scott W. Barger, 18, Aurora; 1:07 a.m. near Brookdale Road and Beaver Drive; Barger charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, consumption of liquor by a minor and possession of a false identification card; police determined Barger and juvenile passenger had been drinking.

6Burglary tools possession: Jon P. Boyes, 28, 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive; 4:33 a.m. on 700 block of Inland Circle; charged with possession of burglary tools and criminal trespass to a building.

7Property damage: Sometime overnight, blunt object used to damage mailbox outside home on 1000 block of Thunderbird Lane.

8Property damage: Between 6 p.m. Jan. 5 and 6:30 a.m. Jan. 6, mailbox and mounting post damaged outside home on 400 block of Westglen Drive.

9Property damage: Sometime before 7 a.m., mailboxes damaged outside two homes and mailbox stolen from outside third home on 1400 block of Siebert Court.

10Vandalism: Between 8 a.m. Jan. 5 and 8 a.m. Jan. 6, glider handle snapped off and vulgarity written on glider on 1300 block of Springdale Circle.

11Vehicle burglary: Between 6:30 p.m. Jan. 5 and 9 a.m. Jan. 6, wallet and checkbook stolen from unlocked vehicle parked outside home on 1300 block of Calvin Court.

12Suspended license: Liliana Leija, 24, Melrose Park; 9:44 a.m. near McDowell Road and Route 59; charged with driving while license suspended and driving without insurance; also wanted on a warrant.

13Property damage: Between 10 p.m. Jan. 5 and 10 a.m. Jan. 6, mailbox and mounting post damaged outside home on 1300 block of Cortland Drive.

14Shoplifting: Brandon A. Wandick, 19, Aurora; 12:57 p.m. at Walmart, 776 S. Route 59; charged with retail theft.

15Property damage: Between 3 p.m. Dec. 10 and 2 p.m. Jan. 6, clear, curved window well covering damaged outside home on 1400 block of Talbot Drive.

16Road rage: About 2:03 p.m., two motorists got into argument near Auburn Avenue and Wehrli Road; first motorist claimed other driver hit him with her vehicle after he got out to speak to her; second motorist said man pounded on her vehicle several times with his fists, damaging it; no complaints signed, no arrests made.

17Theft: Sometime before 2:53 p.m., two “Private Property/No Trespassing” signs damaged and floodlight bulb stolen from Orleans Avenue and Coach Drive; all exterior trash cans along Napoleon Drive found knocked to ground.

18Drug possession: John I. Calderon, 33, Aurora; 4:57 p.m. near Golf Ridge Circle and Shore Road; charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving while license suspended, possession of less than 2.5 grams marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without insurance and speeding.

19Suspended license: Andrew T. Thomas, 33, Chicago; 5:03 p.m. near Beebe Drive and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license.

20Vehicle burglary: Sometime before 5:29 p.m., purse containing iPhone, driver’s license and other property stolen from unlocked vehicle parked on 1700 block of Ontario Avenue.

21Driving under the influence: Karine H. Malec, 36, 1000 block of Thackery Lane; 6:19 p.m. near Ogden Avenue and Fort Hill Drive; charged with DUI, driving without insurance and improper lane use.

Saturday, Jan. 7

22Property damage: Between 2 and 6 a.m., cement paving stone used to dent mailbox outside home on 1500 block of Apache Drive.

23Vehicle damage: Sometime between 1 and 10:28 a.m., BB or other projectile used to shatter rear window of Dodge Caravan parked outside home on 100 block of Tupelo Avenue.

24Shoplifting: Between 1 and 1:25 p.m., man severed security cord on iPhone 4S, stealing it from business on 1100 block of East Ogden Avenue; suspect described as Hispanic man between ages of 20 and 24, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, black hair, wearing jeans, black hoodie and white T-shirt embossed with black lettering.

25Property damage: Between Jan. 4 and 1:26 p.m. Jan. 7, yellow paint thrown onto side of house on 200 block of Covington Court.

26Burglary: Between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., intruders entered home on 500 block of West Franklin Avenue via unlocke garage door; report did not indicate what, if anything, stolen.

27Vehicle burglary: Between 4 p.m. Jan. 3 and 8:46 p.m. Jan. 7, mail and retail “club cards” stolen from vehicle, possibly while parked in lot outside Home Depot, 2920 Audrey Ave.

28Theft: Between 5 and 10:30 p.m., license plate stolen from rear of vehicle parked on 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue.

Sunday, Jan. 8

29Vehicle damage: Between 10:40 p.m. Jan. 7 and 1:40 a.m. Jan. 8, two tires slashed on vehicle parked in lot on 0-99 block of North Washington Street.

30Suspended license: Azucena M. Perez, 26, West Chicago; 2:23 a.m. near Aurora Avenue and Route 59; charged with driving with a suspended license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions and two counts of driving without insurance, after her vehicle allegedly struck rear of vehicle in front of hers.

31DUI: Rolando A. Garcia, 25, Romeoville; 2:33 a.m. near Royce Road and Washington Street; charged with two counts of DUI and one count each of improper lane use and driving vehicle with defective muffler.

32Marijuana possession: Tonisha S. Ellington, age and home town not provided; 2:47 a.m. on 400 block of South Brainard Street, on campus of North Central College; charged with possession of marijuana, after college security worker found her sitting inside vehicle with friends; two marijuana cigarette butts found in ashtray of vehicle.

33Vehicle burglary: Between 9:01 p.m. Jan. 7 and 3:16 a.m. Jan. 8, two purses and woman’s coat stolen from unlocked vehicle parked on 2800 block of Gypsum Circle.

34DUI: Jennifer L. Pyburn, 30, Aurora; 3:35 a.m. on 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive; charged with two counts of DUI and one count each of illegal possession or transportation of liquor and driving without insurance.

35Marijuana possession: Anthony L. Colon, 19, 1500 block of Fairway Drive; 4:42 a.m. on 1800 block of Santa Fe Drive; charged with possession of 10 grams or more marijuana.

36Vehicle burglary: Between 8 p.m. Jan. 7 and 10:45 a.m. Jan. 8, miscellaneous items with combined estimated value of $695 stolen from unlocked vehicle parked outside home on 2400 block of Sheehan Drive.

37Theft: Between 10 p.m. Jan. 7 and 1:20 p.m. Jan. 8, hood ornament stolen from vehicle, most likely while parked on 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue.

38Vehicle theft: About 10:49 p.m., resident of 1800 block of South Michigan Avenue told police boyfriend took her car without permission and had been gone all day; man returned with car shortly after police report was taken.
