‘Security issue’ closes all DeVry University campuses

DeVry University has closed all of its Chicago-area campuses Monday because of a security issue, according to a statement posted on the university’s website.

The university, which has campuses in the Loop, near O’Hare Airport and in north suburban Gurnee, has closed all of its locations on Monday because of a “potential security issue,” according to DeVry’s website.

Further details on the nature of the security issue were not given. A spokesperson for the university could not be reached early Monday.
