Cameron Diaz to hold event in Naperville

Film star Cameron Diaz will visit Naperville Jan. 9 for an event to be sponsored by Anderson’s Bookshop.

On Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. Diaz will meet with readers and fans at Wentz Hall, 171 E. Chicago Ave., on the campus of North Central College.

Tickets are available with the purchase of Diaz’ new book from Anderson’s Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave. in downtown Naperville or online at www.andersonsbookshop.com.

Diaz will be sharing her new book, “The Body Book: The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body.” Event tickets are available with the purchase of Diaz’s new book from Anderson’s Bookshop. The author will sign her book for attendees, but will not sign memorabilia.

Diaz made her feature-film debut at age 21 in “The Mask.” Since then she has appeared in small-budget and blockbuster films alike including “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and “There’s Something About Mary.”

In “The Body Book,” she shares the knowledge she’s gained both from personal experience and from consulting with health experts about nutrition and overall health.
