A person was found dead Thursday morning in a dormitory on the Lewis University campus in Romeoville.
The person, who was not a student, was found dead in Fitzpatrick Hall about 10:30 a.m., according to a statement on the university’s website.
There was no threat to the campus and the university remains open, the statement said.
“The Lewis University Community expresses its prayerful sympathy to all who are touched by this tragedy especially family and friends,” the statement said.
Romeoville police and the Will County Coroner’s office are investigating.
