On September 11, Naperville's Millennium Carillon will ring its bells commemorating morning events and preceding an evening ceremony. Read the full press release below:
Naperville’s Millennium Carillon once again will mark the solemn occasion of the events of September 11, 2001. On Wednesday, September 11, 2013 the bells will toll during the morning at the following times of impact:
8:46 a.m. for Tower One of the World Trade Center
9:03 a.m. for Tower Two of the World Trade Center
9:37 a.m. for the Pentagon
10:03 a.m. for Shanksville, Pennsylvania
Additionally, the bells will ring from 5:30 - 5:45 p.m. as a prelude to the 6:00 p.m.remembrance ceremony at the Comdr. Dan Shanower Memorial at the City’s Municipal Center at 400 S. Eagle Street.
